I waited for 4 minutes, then I called back and Monique answered the phone. She said Dr. Pepperell was off Thursday, but could get me in for 8:30 am on Friday, January 23, 2026. I arrived at 8:25 am. There was one person that walked in ahead of me. There was no clipboard available to sign in with. No one greeted me after standing at the window a few minutes so I took a seat. The TV was so incredibly loud and when I was called, I wasn't even sure I was being spoken to TV loud. I was awkwardly given the clipboard, I'm struggling to hear because the TV is to my right. I told the person that I had a new insurance card, last year's card had expired. A few more people came in. They were called back. I took a seat and now the time is approaching 9:00 am. I said may I speak with Monique. She said I am. Okay I have an appointment for 8:30 and a few people that arrived after me have already been seen. She said they are here for the other doctor. She also said my appointment was scheduled for 10:15 am. I said no way is that possible. I specifically repeated 2 times my appointment time on Weds when I was scheduled, and got the person's name (Monique) at that time. She procceded to mock me. I told her no way was I going to wait another hour. She said I would be next. I paid my co-pay 124. Monique took me back to suite #3. She made sure to turn around and give me an aggressive look and stare. I returned in kind. I went back and got my vitals checked. I then heard the doctor pop in with another patient. the time is now 9:30. I got up to leave. I went to the front desk and asked for my co-pay to be refunded. I said I am leaving a review today... Monique said why "because of the color of my skin." I said are you kidding me? My husband is Puerto Rican and Black. Unbelievable. My husband sees Dr. Ann B, he likes her. He does say the back office staff are nice, the front people make you feel like an imposition, Like you are interrupting their phone time. guess I will be finding another PCP. My knee is still swollen. Now it's impossible to get out due to the severe weather.

I've been a patient at Bent Tree Family Physicians in Frisco for over 5 years, and my experience…read morehas progressively gone downhill. Most recently, Veronica Dilworth insisted that I come back every three months just to get my blood pressure checked so she could continue prescribing medication. I have had this same condition for multiple years, and at every other practice I've ever been to, I was prescribed a full year of medication without unnecessary follow-ups. Never in my medical history have I been required to return every three months for something this routine. This felt less about patient care and more about keeping patients on recurring billing cycles. Additionally, my in-room experience with Veronica Dilworth was honestly just okay at best, in fact, very mediocre and nothing that would make me want to continue care with her anyway. There was nothing exceptional or confidence-inspiring about the interaction - something you'd like to see in medicine. Unfortunately, this isn't an isolated issue. There have been multiple billing-related incidents over the years that strongly suggest unethical billing at this practice. Another major red flag: constant staff turnover. In over five years as a patient, I have never once seen the same doctor or practitioner consistently. Providers rotate frequently--either they leave, or just move out. That alone raises serious concerns. When no physician seems willing to stay long-term, it makes you wonder what's going on internally. Between unnecessary visits, questionable billing behavior, and nonstop provider turnover, I've completely lost trust in this practice. BEWARE. Take your business elsewhere. You'll likely receive better continuity of care--and more importantly your wallet will thank you.

This place used to be great. It's gone downhill in the past couple of years. Firstly, they got rid…read moreof their old patient portal which worked great. So no notice about a new portal and there was no portal at all for months. Now they have a new portal and they want to do everything thru the portal now. I can't get them to pickup the phone to make an appointment and as I type this, I'm in my 2nd hour of a chat to get an appointment. Ridiculous. They made me get testing I didn't need because they would only accept findings from their specialist. Even though I had the exact results they needed from another local specialist. So more time and cost for me. Then they needed a letter in writing, which they didn't tell me. And then when I got the letter, they told me I also need an appointment, which they should have explained. Very frustrating. I've been waiting WAY too long to get the prescription I've needed for over a year. If they could get back to their former level of service with much better communication I would highly recommend. But right now, no.

You don't have to wait long and her office is always clean and welcoming. Appointments are easy to make. Just a few down side issues...there is a charge if you miss your appointment, even if it's an emergency. However, the doctor worked with me on this fee & waived it. The billing / coding on a visit was also entered in incorrectly and I was billed from my insurance company. But the office corrected it, and took care of it after I contacted them. It's nice to see that they can correct errors & look at policy. I would recommend getting rid of the no show fee, it's very high and things happen. Overall, very pleased and would recommend.

Full disclosure: I didn't manage to make an appointment with this clinic…read more Apparently there were no openings until March when I called, because apparently the doctor will be out of the country for several weeks. Also, I was informed most of her appointments are taken by the PA who has "been with them for several years" and "does everything the doctor does." This is "their normal practice" apparently. I've never heard of such a thing. I asked if it was considered a "doctor's visit" if it was with the PA, and was informed that yes, yes it is. Huh? So why isn't the PA the MD then? Because the PA is *not* an MD... why are we paying a premium for a PA visit? I've visited multiple doc offices before and have had the pleasure of working with their PA's, but NEVER before working directly with the MD/specialist first and certainly throughout my care. Very disappointed after reading all the positive reviews about this place.

Dr. Bhargava is a family physician who gives specialist care and is highly knowledgeable in such a large scope of health conditions. She's handled my husbands' allergy testing and shots, my daughters asthma, my friend's migraines, and even hooked up an IV for me in office when I had pneumonia! It's rare these days to find a doctor who not only remembers your history but genuinely cares about you as a whole person and that is exactly who she is. Dr. Bergman has walked with me through some of my most challenging medical moments over the years, as well as my victories. She always takes time to listen, never rushes appointments, and treats every concern with compassion, patience, and thoroughness. Her clinical judgment is outstanding, and her ability to explain things in a way that makes sense has helped me understand and manage my health so much better. What I appreciate most is that she treats me like a human being, not a chart number. You can feel that she truly cares about her patients, their families, and their long-term well-being. In an era where medical care can feel rushed and impersonal, she remains a shining example of what healthcare should be. I am incredibly grateful for her continued support, dedication, and consistency over more than a decade and a half. If you're looking for a primary care physician who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly committed to her patients, I cannot recommend Dr. Bergman enough. She absolutely deserves every star -- and then some.
