We had a really enjoyable dinner at ALEX. The restaurant and bar area is divided into several sections, and we were seated in a quieter, elegantly decorated corner -- a comfortable spot that set the tone for a relaxing evening.
Service was excellent. Nicole was attentive, warm, and gave us the time and space to decide what we wanted without feeling rushed.
The tomato soup deserves its own spotlight - the kind you write Mom about. It was one of the best I've tasted: smooth, rich, and beautifully flavored. It came with two pieces of buttered toast, simple but perfect, and just as elegant as the restaurant itself.
The chicken schnitzel and fries were another standout. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, and the fries were crisp without being oily. He ordered the chicken karaage, which was also well prepared, and the rice served with it was cooked to perfection.
For drinks, the mango smoothie was sweet and decadent without being overpowering, while the Aperol was light, refreshing, and a welcome balance to the meal.
Overall, a satisfying dinner with wonderful service, memorable dishes, and a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend ALEX and will return. read more
