From past experiences, we knew that the anoid rod was probably the problem, so we called the company who installed the water heater to have them replace the rod. Well, the technician came out, couldn't remove the rod but told us that he would call us back with a solution. That was in May! I called them 5 times and never received a call back! I called Pipedream Plumbing on Monday and Ryan was out here on Tuesday. He was unable to remove the rod because it was COMPLETELY STRIPPED from the previous attempt. We ended up having to get another water heater (still under warranty) because of the stripped rod and he installed it on Thursday. Both Ryan and Paula were wonderful to work with and I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to our family and friends. Oh, and by the way, Ryan didn't charge me for his first visit. He said, "I didn't do anything, why would I charge you?"
