Now I know what to look for, I noticed they have the fake ones all the time. I'm not sure all the brand names are fake but multiple pairs of the Timberlands were multiple times. I think the floors need a good cleaning from the remodel because all the shoes had sandy grit on the bottom from previous try ons. ONE, and it is the week before Hannukah/Christmas!! Behind the checkout area was a (female) supervisor of some sort who was sorting boxes, and while that could have been for something important as well, perhaps getting customers who are trying to pay moving through the line would have been better??!! Check the DSW.com site before you pay because there may be a deal/promo code: I looked and there was a $15 off code with a $49+ purchase; I'll take the $15.00 (get a screenshot for easier checkout). On the good side, the clearance shoes have been well-organized each time I have been in (although there was nothing for me yesterday). The disappointing thing was that I had a difficult time finding the shoes I was looking for - black heels. This must be the most basic heel (except for a nude color?), but the selection was minimal because a HUGE part of the womens section was boots. Boots are great and it is December in New England, but they don't work with a suit at work, a wedding, etc. Sure you can order from the website, but you may need to order 5-10 pairs to find just the right one (and then schlep them all back to the store for a return). Lots of parking right out front, but so-so inside.

The staff is so helpful and patient - From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a smile and a true sense that the staff want to know how they can help. My most recent trip I had the privilege to work with Anne who brought me a variety of shoes and listened to my feedback. As they always do, she also had me walk in the shoes so she could assess my gait and how my leg looked walking in the shoes. The staff often consult one another and have another set of eyes and can tell just by squatting down to watch you walk that certain shoes are better than others. While the prices may seem high, the truth is that high quality shoes are just expensive and PR Running is competitively priced with the manufacturer websites. They also almost always have a sale rack where you can sometimes find your size! I have been buying shoes here for over ten years! I love to support this small business and hope they continue to thrive in a world of online shopping and big box stores.

Even though they were all helping other customers, each person made the effort to greet me and let me know they'd be with me shortly, which I really appreciated. I had the chance to work with Rich, and he was fantastic! He pulled up a chair so we could talk about my running goals and then did a gait assessment to better understand my stride and foot type. Based on that, he selected a shoe for me to try, then had me go outside for a quick jog so he could make sure it was the right fit. I really liked how he kept my running goals in mind while also making sure the shoes worked for my feet specifically. I left the store with a perfect pair of running shoes and couldn't be more excited to continue my running journey with the right support under my feet. Highly recommend PR Running to anyone looking for knowledgeable staff, excellent customer service, and a personalized experience!

I recently found Butter London nail polish that retails for a pricey $15 a bottle for $4. I've also found products from Bliss and Shiseido for a fraction of the retail price. This is a great place if you're into trendy things. Let's face it, trends come and go fast these days so it doesn't make sense to break the bank for accessories or clothes that will be out of style by the end of the season. The employees here are really nice too. I found the perfect plush blanket for my bed while Christmas shopping last year, but it didn't have a price tag. I asked a man working there if he could help me. He looked around and compared it to other blankets and asked if $29.99 seemed fair. It really fit the $49.99 category I said. He took it and tagged it for me at $29.99, smiled, and wished me a Merry Christmas. He made my day. I would consider this a medium sized Marshall's. Their selection in all departments is pretty good and there's new stuff all the time.

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with a debilitating nervous system condition that has completely changed how I engage in fitness. But being the stubborn "gym rat" that I am, I have refused to give up lifting and sprinting. My condition has caused major changes in my gait, proprioception, and running mechanics, which have been causing me a lot of silly injuries. A close friend recommended Sneakerama, theorizing that maybe "the right" shoes could help. I was skeptical, but decided to pop in to see what all of the hype among my avid runner friends was all about! When I walked in, I was welcomed with a friendly greeting and immediately jumped into a conversation about what my goals were. When I explained my wild healthy history, Alex listened empathetically and almost immediately knew what I needed - a minimalist shoe with a wide toe box to help correct my over-pronation and balance issues. He came back with four different styles, each with unique features which he explained thoroughly and allowed me to take for a "test stroll"! I ended up choosing a very cool pair of Altras - a brand I had never even heard of before! The next morning, I tried out my new shoes at the gym and I was THRILLED! I felt much more stable and was able to better engage targeted muscles while lifting. These Altras are a GAME CHANGER! Not only do they have me feeling better supported, they've also given me my confidence back! :) Sneakerama is a hidden gem! I grew up in Worcester and had never. been inside... I wish I had discovered this place earlier!
