DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse - Customization 1/26

    DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

DSW remodel in Sept 2025…read more All the sections have been moved around giving a more modern feel with added neon signs, fun painted floor decoration, seating area and more. - new customization station area on the right (tote bag $30; adult T $15; kid T $10; -$10 for printing/embroidery/engraving) - coffee station - computerized shoe sizing for kids and adults - 2 seating areas - donation box I guess there was a an augmented try-on mirror (see your shoes with different outfits) but I didn't see it? I think the floors need a good cleaning from the remodel because all the shoes had sandy grit on the bottom from previous try ons. I went during off prime hours so there was no line for checkout, let's hope it stays that way!

I have mixed feelings about this location, my #1 disappointment is how long it takes to checkout:…read more at 11:30am yesterday, there was only one cashier working. ONE, and it is the week before Hannukah/Christmas!! Behind the checkout area was a (female) supervisor of some sort who was sorting boxes, and while that could have been for something important as well, perhaps getting customers who are trying to pay moving through the line would have been better??!! Check the DSW.com site before you pay because there may be a deal/promo code: I looked and there was a $15 off code with a $49+ purchase; I'll take the $15.00 (get a screenshot for easier checkout). On the good side, the clearance shoes have been well-organized each time I have been in (although there was nothing for me yesterday). The disappointing thing was that I had a difficult time finding the shoes I was looking for - black heels. This must be the most basic heel (except for a nude color?), but the selection was minimal because a HUGE part of the womens section was boots. Boots are great and it is December in New England, but they don't work with a suit at work, a wedding, etc. Sure you can order from the website, but you may need to order 5-10 pairs to find just the right one (and then schlep them all back to the store for a return). Lots of parking right out front, but so-so inside.

I NEVER take the time to write reviews, but the crew at Sneakerama is well worth the effort! I left…read moreabsolutely blown away with the exceptional customer service I received - something that has become a true rarity in 2026! Two years ago, I was diagnosed with a debilitating nervous system condition that has completely changed how I engage in fitness. But being the stubborn "gym rat" that I am, I have refused to give up lifting and sprinting. My condition has caused major changes in my gait, proprioception, and running mechanics, which have been causing me a lot of silly injuries. A close friend recommended Sneakerama, theorizing that maybe "the right" shoes could help. I was skeptical, but decided to pop in to see what all of the hype among my avid runner friends was all about! When I walked in, I was welcomed with a friendly greeting and immediately jumped into a conversation about what my goals were. When I explained my wild healthy history, Alex listened empathetically and almost immediately knew what I needed - a minimalist shoe with a wide toe box to help correct my over-pronation and balance issues. He came back with four different styles, each with unique features which he explained thoroughly and allowed me to take for a "test stroll"! I ended up choosing a very cool pair of Altras - a brand I had never even heard of before! The next morning, I tried out my new shoes at the gym and I was THRILLED! I felt much more stable and was able to better engage targeted muscles while lifting. These Altras are a GAME CHANGER! Not only do they have me feeling better supported, they've also given me my confidence back! :) Sneakerama is a hidden gem! I grew up in Worcester and had never. been inside... I wish I had discovered this place earlier! They are so much more than an athletic shoe retailer - as a family-owned business, they take pride in what they do and foster a special sense of community to all of their customers!

I absolutely should have come here sooner in life…read more I came here to retire a pair of New Balance so old they could be consider OG, and walked out with a brand new pair of Hoka. I would not have found these without a staff recommendation, and I am still amazed. I got the right shoe at a decent price. I also wanted to support a small local business who is involved with the local running scene. I would be surprised if I buy running shoes from anywhere else after this experience.
