I've LOVED this store in past visits, purchasing numerous suits, work ensembles, and dresses. But…read moreyesterday, the clearance racks were so disorganized, with all sizes mixed together, including petites, and all types of garments mixed in, that I couldn't even get excited to spend my money. And if you'd wanted another size from the fitting room, the sales staff had a difficult time finding it due to the disorganization. But there were several associates pacing the floor, mentioning the deals, handing out mesh bags to put your considerations in (even though that would get them all wrinkly...). To me, this is the opposite of customer service. They're working so hard to address you by your name and be your personal shopper that it comes across and insincere and desperate.
Also, maybe it's just me, since I haven't done serious shopping in a while, but it seemed that many staples, such as button downs and tees were way overpriced, such that it was only the "early Labor Day sale" that made them reasonable. So that made me wonder if any of it was really a deal.
If the employees would put half as much effort into organizing the merchandise as they did into upselling in the "wardrobing" area, I probably would have purchased much more than one pair of pants on clearance. I'd just head to the Loft outlet if I were you.
