It was July, so I wasn't sure I'd even find anything. Haus Red Apple Orchard & Cider Mill came up in my search. It's pretty from the outside, but from the inside it seemed a little bare. There were a number of tables set up with different items on them. They did have a few donuts, but they didn't have much of a cider taste to them. It may just have been the wrong time of the year to get them. I tried the cider slushie as well which was very tasty. There were a variety of apples for sale (Empire, Red Delicious, Courtland, Crispon, Golden delicious, Galas) most of which were $5-6 a bucket. The store is filled with pretty much anything that you can imagine is apple or has to do with apples. I bought a bunch of apples and some cider all of which came to only $9.80. (I've uploaded a picture of my bounty) The highlight of the visit was cider slushies sold up front and fresh dough-nuts. We were fortuitous enough to arrive when hot cinnamon dough-nuts were being brought out. It's a drive from Cleveland, but I happened to be in the area because it's halfway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. This is my first apple farm in Ohio, so I have no basis for comparison, but Haus certainly surpassed my expectations of deliciousness.
