I ordered one piece of fish and a New York chicken rice bowl with the red sauce, but I also added a vegan white sauce since I'm dairy free. The chef even gave us a taste of his gumbo which he was selling the next day. The bowl was amazing. Everything was fresh and cooked well. I was really surprised by the size of the piece of fish which was perch as normally perch is not so large. We were joined by a group of family and friends and everyone enjoyed the food from the mac & cheese to the jerk chicken to the fried fish bowl and falafel. If I'm ever back in town, I will definitely stop by. Well, in the shop, I did a little bit of shopping as well and picked up a very cute leaf pottery. I love how it natural it looks, but then it will also match the other leaf pieces I already have. The store has a wide a food on the shelf or in the fridge section plus really pretty crochet, pottery, jewelry, and other items. The store has something for everyone. Finally, we enjoyed the coffee shop which had really delicious lemonades and a number of people in our party also had coffee drink drinks. When back in Wooster this summer for my niece's graduation, I'll be sure to stop in especially if it's a Friday or Saturday for Big D's Soul BQ.

One taste of a strawberry and I knew this was the place. Many more vegetable offerings as the summer progresses. Friendly staff. Plenty of activities for the smaller ones when this stand fully opens. I love Aldi in theory. Along with Lidl, a store I've yet to see in this area. These European style…read morestores have their unique layouts combined with offerings of more consumer conscious options. Organics, natural, gluten-free, etc. all are a given over in Europe. The same holds true here in the US locations, too. You can accomplish all of your standard grocery shopping right here, just as you could in any other more "local" chain. They have fresh veggies and fruits, freezer and refrigerator sections with dairy and eggs, shelf stable cans and boxes, even alcohol. Food aside, there are some home goods and the occasional random items. Some make you think "what's that doing in here?" Now, sometimes stock is picked clean on high demand items. I've also never seen more than one checkout lane running anytime I've come in. Thankfully, it moves quickly. And I'll always love that they don't even offer free bags here at checkout. Perfect proof that huge retailers could do the same and be totally fine.

I also really love the random assortment of home items, and I always find something else that I just HAVE to come home with. Usually there is only one checkout line open, but they do have small self checkout stations for people paying with card. I love how Aldi promotes bringing your own reusable bags. This location will definitely be a big part of my grocery spending while I'm in the area!

Their products are really quite exceptional and the people that represent them in their stores are very helpful. Our family has been going here for years and during a time my father-in-law was ill. They would allow me to call the order in and go down and get it so that I didn't have to be away from the house that long. It was very helpful for our situation. They've always been very accommodating.

I made an awesome cobbler. They had so many rows of strawberries, but the people working there were able to point to less-picked areas. Unfortunately, the raspberries weren't as robust at the time, so I wasn't able to pick any at the time. You aren't able to pick cherries, but they sell them at the market as well as a bunch of other produce, ice cream, baked goods, jams, etc and there's a winery next door if you need post-picking flight.
