This location is near where I go for physical and occupational therapy once a week. The store is always extremely clean and well stocked. I'm surprised to see that they're limited edition aisle. (The aisle of shame lol) is always very well stocked compared to other stores - not only can you find the item you were looking for, but there are always all of the varieties available. I realize this may not always be the case, but when I have come in on Monday, everything is fully stocked. The staff are helpful and friendly and I like this location because it's in a plaza where there is ample parking and for whatever reason it seems it's a little less busy other than that it is your standard ALDI store - fresh produce & meats, great prices. Today I got the famous Lacura lip mask which is a highly sought after dupe for the Laniege lip mask. I see online that it's very hard to find and they had a full display. It's about $20 cheaper than what you'd pay for name brand. Helpful tip: you can follow accounts on social media, including YouTube that rate the quality and value of Aldi products it's extremely helpful but overall ALDI has great quality and very affordable prices, especially in today's economy. read more

I love Aldi but not this location. I don't come to this location often, but when I do, they're always out of something I need. Last time it was couscous, this time ground turkey. The layout of this store also stinks. They have items grouped together in a way no other Aldi around here does so. Additionally, the carts are really far from the entrance compared to other locations. However the staff here are polite and friendly. read more

I came all the way to this Aldi location,because a customer service rep told me they had some "Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino k-cups" left there. So, I took off, went & bought 5 boxes. This Aldi seemed to have a bigger stock & selection of things. Right at the corner of Transit & Main Street. Lots of parking, nice employees & a big variety of items. If need be, I'd have no problem driving all the way there again for something all of the Aldi around me don't have anymore of. read more

This is a no-frills store where you can often find things difficult to find elsewhere. they are perpetually understaffed, but the people who stock the shelves tend to be very knowledgeable about all of the inventory. Expect long lines to check out but competitive prices make it worth the wait. read more

When I was a single Mom in college years ago, Aldi was the only option for me (not this location, but they're pretty much all the same); cheap prices .. convenient foods .. sweet and salty snacks .. everything I could want and need. As time went on, as most adults do, I moved on from my diet of frozen meals, PB and J sandwiches, hamburger helper, cereal for dinner, and every kind of chip and cookie I craved. And with that, I moved on from Aldi too. I stopped into this location because I was in the plaza and felt curious about the stores makeover; I have to say, I was impressed. All of my old favorites are there .. I swear they were even calling my name .. but there were so many more healthy options there now! When you first enter, you walk right into produce. I love this! You used to walk right into chips and cookies .. so naturally, you start filling you cart with junk! By the time you would reach produce and meats, who the hell wants that when you have sugary wafers and chips and dip?? Lol -- major props for changing this layout! Also, there are a lot more options than the basic fruits and veggies when I shopped and they looked fresh (when I used to shop, most was wilted and/or needed to be consumed immediately). I noticed they had a knock of version of this healthy cereal I love, but stopped buying because it's so expensive .. they have all the flavors I love too! This prompted me to check on the dairy-free milk options .. and yep! Soy milk, almond milk, etc. woohooooo! They also have turkey bacon, turkey kielbasa, single serve snack packs with apples, cheese, grapes, nuts, etc. There is a lot of organic options as well. I am really impressed with this Aldi and I think I will test out replacing Wegmans .. I love my Wegmans, but I sure wouldn't mind saving some money shopping here. read more

New renovations are awesome! They now accept credit cards instead of only debit cards. Friendly staff. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the lack of fruits and vegetables. I wanted to buy a green and red pepper today (only 1) and they were all sold in bulk. So I was forced to buy 6 pepper unless I wanted to go to another grocery store instead. Other than that, I love shopping at Aldis. Very cheap alternative. read more

I couldn't make the turn into Tops on Main so I decided to try Aldi on Transit and Main. I only wanted a few things. Walking in this store is very disorganized. But ok. I found the yogurts in the fridge in the back. Great prices. And they were good. A brand we were not familiar with, but the flavors were tasty. Couldn't find the spinach with the other veges. Turns out it's in the cooler. Hmmm. Ok. Picked up a bag. It looks ok. Checkout they say the cart stays there. Really? What's that about? No bags offered, like Pricerite bring your own, and following the European model. But none was offered either, even for a price. Employees generally a little on less helpful side. I guess Wegmans and Trader Joes have spoiled me on that one. I guess it was fine. I may try another location if it makes sense. I gather they are all a little different. Kind of like Trader Joes, their "brother" of sorts. They both started from the same company that split along the way. read more

This is my favorite of the Aldi locations. I can always find what I'm looking for and the store is clean and well organized. As a general rule I won't purchase produce from Aldi because I've gotten home to rotten peppers, lemons, and oranges more then once. Impressed that they have a decent size vegan frozen food section. Cheap cheap cheap ... And that's what the bird said flying over this place. Smart bird! :) Easy in/out. Small store. Basic good grocery items, plus a few extra nice German products. If you want more choices, go to Wegmans or Tops. Down side: be careful with the produce. Sometimes the fruit and veggies are too ripe and on the verge of simply old, ready to eat immediately or ready for the trash can. I've had a few "bad apples" but they didn't spoil the bunch. After hearing all the hype of Aldi being the biggest seller of organic food items, I was happy to finally check it out. The selection is a bit odd, many of the products are their own brand. While we didn't buy a ton, the stuff we got was all very reasonably priced and good quality. It's somewhat similar to Trader Joe's, but targeting a lower income demographic (and--I believe the two company's owners are related). I don't think I could shop here exclusively, but it's worth coming in for grocery shelf items. Though, I wouldn't come here for meat or produce. Overall, I'm a fan! read more

Recently came in after they had renovated, and this place is great now! I love buying the salad kits for work lunches, and they're at least $1-2 cheaper than at other grocery stores, yet just as delicious. The store organization here is great now, areas look clean and not sketchy at all. The bathroom was even nice and clean. I seriously save a ton of money when I shop at Aldi. In the early 90's I went to Germany and got my first exposure to this company. One thing that I've always loved about this chain is that I can come to the register with a cart full of food and reasonably expect to spend somewhere between 80-100 less than what I would at Wegmans or Tops. I also should note that I have 2 kids that have serious issues ingesting any dairy products or byproducts. One of the things I love about this store is (and I believe this isn't intentional) they have a large stock of food that is dairy free. What more can I say feeding my kids well (teens I might add), and spending less to do so...it's Aldi FTW (For the win). read more

One of the cleaner Aldi's. My main place to shop for fresh produce. The vegetables and fruits are always fresh, clean and crisp. Also, long life for the fresh produce. However, sometimes they don't have few items: like eggplants, spaghetti squash, avocados, raspberries, etc. Have a decent selection of a little bit of everything from every department. read more

Aldi is so great. They have tons of off-brand and some brand name groceries for much less than other stores. They keep costs down by not bagging groceries, using a customer-operated cart system, and very basic shelving and displays. Their produce selection is good and of really good quality for the most part. I wish the organic selection were wider but hey, you can't have it all. They also have expansive meat selection, as well as dairy, and frozen food. I save so much money by shopping here. Just remember to bring your own bags! read more

Great prices, much cheaper than the grocery store and you don't have to waste time cutting coupons or sign up for a store card, etc. Ok, it's a small store but for the size they have nearly everything I need for a normal week. I like especially their dairy products (except the feta cheese!), cereal, chocolates, frozen burgers, hotdogs......I could go on. Plus, since the store is much smaller than a normal grocery store, I get my shopping done much quicker. read more

The basic necessities of a human kind is all covered in this small food market. The location is great, parking is plenty. Ease of shopping and jaw dropping prices is what brings me back to this store. The milk & eggs i found to be from local farms. Good quality & lowest price ever.This Milk doesn't have any powder additives that i find in the milk from other stores. Its just $2.00. The pricing is obviously managed to do cutting back on various unnecessary overheads. The ice creams are good enough to please a crowd. I found most amazed by the wild caught frozen salmon that was $4.00 per lb. How in the world can a $18.00 per lb fish in other places be so cheap? Then i looked at the back and saw that all these frozen fish products were coming form China. The other weekly buys offered were very seasonal and good. Cheese is great taste and quality and just under 2.00. The other products like Cereals, mimicked the branded ones but as i don't prefer to buy even the branded ones with sugars and other additives, i still need to find this item somewhere else. Also coke, pepsi buyers cannot be very happy either. Since they carry just one brand , there is hard to look for more options. but they have all the varieties of what each brand can bring. I still didn't find the plain whole milk yogurt there. i am not a low fat fan and they carry all low fat, fat free version of yogurt. I read the ingredients before i buy. There is another thing that i loved the most and its the MSG free chips they carry are absolutely delicious. Sea salt, sweet mesquite, barbecue flavors are one of the best i have ever tasted. I am a huge fan of Aldi for the staples we need at our house. Milk, cheese, creamer, tortilla chips, bread, and produce are some of my favorite items to get there. I will admit that I stay away from their meat. I used to buy their ground turkey, but my husband and I swear it smelled weird. The stores are usually very busy, but I'm always amazed at how quickly they cash you out. You have to bag your own groceries and bring your own bags. My favorite part of my shopping experience is seeing how much food you get for just a little money. I am saving a ton every week because of Aldi. read more

I'm a total covert to the Aldis way. Maria's review was hilarious and sad. The term user error comes to mind. Its very well organized. Firstly Aldi sells 90% brands produced exclusively for them and 10% are opportunity buys from major brands. They offer a double back guarantee on what they sell so based on that its worth trying it out. Biggest incentive is the price to quality which is fabulous. There are giant signs which explain the cart return policy and if you don't have reusable bags on you they sell three kinds. Paper, plastic and cold storage at each register. read more

The Germans save Americans with bargain shopping who would've thunk! I love this place. It is unique, the food over all is healthier and actually held to German food standards which are higher then America's standards and it's super inexpensive. You must pack your own bags and it is set up half grocery store half bulk shopping, non of which I mind. I love the Transit store because it is clean. They have an odd system with a quarter for a cart, but this is to reduce stealing. My biggest problem is that it is usually crazy and people with two items have to wait for someone that has bought enough for a family of 12. My husband and I will usually try and let the lighter shoppers go in front of us to be courteous. Also you get run into a lot by customers, so beware. 90% of my shopping experiences have been great. Produce is lacking, but staff is helpful sweet and sympathetic to your needs. They have a great cheese section and some of their meat is more affordable here. What would be $300 to $400 at Wegmans and Tops is literally half the cost or less. I always am so shocked at the amazing prices. The staples for our house come from here and their quality is outstanding. I would definately say if you are on a budget and/or love to save money this is your place! read more
