a produce section of a grocery store

This is a no-frills store where you can often find things difficult to find elsewhere. they are perpetually understaffed, but the people who stock the shelves tend to be very knowledgeable about all of the inventory. Expect long lines to check out but competitive prices make it worth the wait.

Store and prices are not bad but the bathroom was filthy and the toilet was plugged. It's obvious to my that nobody checks it throughout the day.

I like to save money - who doesn't? So whenever I can I pick up great items Aldi's, usually weekly. They have a lot of organic items and their simply nature items are actually very good! I just came home from the store now and spent a fraction of what I would have done at Wegmans for the same items. Their meats are really good too. Just a small sample of what I bought today. If you haven't been to Aldi's in a while check it out you'll be glad you did!

New renovations are awesome! They now accept credit cards instead of only debit cards. Friendly staff. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the lack of fruits and vegetables. I wanted to buy a green and red pepper today (only 1) and they were all sold in bulk. So I was forced to buy 6 pepper unless I wanted to go to another grocery store instead. Other than that, I love shopping at Aldis. Very cheap alternative.

This store needs a face lift. Carts are so old. It's a dingy store. And rarely is there an employee who is friendly.

Wanted to bring my 1.5 Year old somewhere a bit more lowkey than the big wigs in town and also wanted to knock out pumpkins and apple picking at the same time- enter Blackman Homestead Farm. It ticked those boxes and also delicious slushies (apple cider and grape) just a missed opportunity for delicious pastries (hmm cinnamon donuts!) We thank goodness read Darlene's review about making a reservation and did that the day of around noon and was able to get in at 330! The reservation is made online and the farm is FREE to enter (amazing) but can't be changed or cancelled, however you only need it per carload, so unless you're bringing another car, you can tack on extra folks. We purchased some apples we picked (it was pretty low in the season to pick off the trees) and some that were all set for you in bins, a pumpkin, some cider, a tiny pumpkin and were surprised by the price. Gently it was not as expensive as I thought. Parking was quick and easy on a later Saturday afternoon, with a quick Hi to the Turkeys, some exploring around the pumpkins and picking some apples we had a good time after about an hour and half. I did noticed that it was well organized and lots of folks did disregard the signs: don't feed the Turkeys (grass) and pick up the apples you drop off the tree. There were alot of half eaten, throw apples on the ground which made me kind of sad. Please respect someone's rules and property, it's so nice to be able to come see the farm for free, I hope that doesn't change.

There is a small, outdoor shop for cider and fruit already to take home; and many spots to sit and enjoy the view from this escarpment. The helpers are friendly and the offerings are varied. All things fall - pumpkins on offer, gourds, homemade fall-spiced cookies, signs for great social media pix - and totally family friendly. Parking is abundant. We make this an annual day for picking , always a pleasure.

Listen, I'm just here to tell anyone looking for seeded watermelons (because they're nowhere to be…read morefound in the area) that Niagara Produce has both seeded and unseeded watermelons! Why does this matter? Well, over 90% of the watermelons in our great country are now unseeded and I don't know about you but I care that my fruits and vegetables are not genetically modified and I eat the entire watermelon because health benefits matter. You can and should eat the seeds of the watermelon, they're super duper good for you! You can also eat the rind (yes, you can). Or just save some seeds and grow them yourself. Scary to think so many of our foods are now seedless, this madness has to stop! I could say so much more on the subject but I'll stop now and just add... Niagara Produce is a great place to shop for your grocery needs, they have a great selection of produce, meats and even cheeses if you're looking for charcuterie board goodies. They also have a wonderfully huge greenhouse and selection of beautiful plants, just take a little stroll and enjoy the beauty. And, if you're not into that, go grab a slice of Just Pizza just because! Happy shopping!

It feels like a very upscale shopping experience with a hometown vibe. I went in for a few things and left with a full cart. I love the prices here as they are lower or competitive with other stores. They have a full deli and their produce has a lot of variety with some local products too. They have a lot of local products as well as what feels like things made in house. Super cool to support local here. They also have an ice cream shop and a Just Pizza location inside the store which is great especially if you go grocery shopping hungry which seems to happen to me quite often. All of the staff here were super nice and helped me get everything I needed. We will definitely be coming here more often for groceries now that we know how incredible this place is!
