First ever going here and I was pleasantly surprised. Even with the hoarding going on around the country this place was pretty well stocked up. I didn't know about the quarter for the cart though. I had no change but this gentleman gave me a quarter, very cool. Like I mentioned it was pretty well stocked up. Love Aldi. There are 2 locations in Tyler and we've been to both. The signature quarter carts are fun and ingenious. The prices, so competitive and the quality is solid. Bring your own bags though. The check out line always moves fast so no worries there. Eggs? They're like 40 cents a dozen or something like that. You can really save a chunk of change by shopping here. I've really never had anything here I didn't like. Where I live in California there are no Aldi's, but there are Trader Joe's which I love as well. I have to tip my hat to Joe's in terms of quality and they do have name brands that are more recognizable. Aldi's is just as relevant, just not as many name brands. It's more designed like a conventional grocery store than TJ's, which is cool. I always look forward to my Aldi's experience and hope they expand into the Central Valley of California. read more

Y'all know I like Aldi, and this was a really nice one. Much more spacious than any other I've been too! I stopped by while in town for work to pick up a few items to snack on in my hotel room and also pack for lunch during my week long stay. Looks like they get a lot of business. Only one check out line was open, but the staff member was in good spirits. The store was clean with a nice layout. I should have taken pictures; my bad y'all. read more

Great, courteous service. Great prices, some Aldi brands are very good, others just ok. Have the best cheese selection (I think) in Tyler. Aldi brand of frozen seafood is outstanding and reasonably priced. AND, I really like the exclusive items, like Eggplant Cutlets..makes Eggplant Parm a cinch to put together. read more

Went to Aldi right when they opened, and it wasn't super busy but there was only one associate ready to help. She was approachable, friendly, helpful, and had great customer service. She was manning the register too so she had to multitask, and was great at it. Had to ask her multiple questions about products and she answered all without me feeling I was bothering her with all she had to do. She even went to the back to find me an item and stalked the shelves too. This wonderful associate named Mary made my shopping experience and morning so great. Great job Mary! read more

The Aldi's on 323 loop and hwy 64 became the #1 store in Texas. Then the decline began as they doubled there pricing across the board in a matter of days. The aggressive price increases included both stores in Tyler. It sadly has gotten to the point they no longer have value as their quality has declined as well. We will seek other competitors until they address both of these issues. The Rockwall store still has the old pricing structure. read more

Amazing!! The produce is fresh. You will appreciate the focus on healthy foods. You can cut your cost in half shopping at Aldi's. However, you have to be selective in which cashier you go through. They are being timed and can be very careless when moving your groceries to your cart. read more

In regards to the first review, I have been shopping at Aldi's for 22 years and have never been charged for items I have not received. I love Aldi's! When we moved to an area that didn't have an Aldi's, I would make up an Aldi's list for my twice yearly visits to my daughter's or my mom's. This store adds extra item charges almost every time I shop here. I bought 3 dozen eggs and 5 dozen were on my receipt. Another time I got 3 bags of potatoes and charged for 4 bags. There was another incident when I bought 1 black pepper and was charged for 9, too much of a hassle. read more

I bought a sack of russet baking potatoes and they had green patches which is a sign of old potatoe as well as they were dry inside....

This store has great store brand items. Most products I've compared to name brand and found to be about the same. I do however wish they would bring back the oats and chocolate fiber now bars. Great prices on pantry staples like butter and eggs (.49/doz). You do have to keep your eyes open though because some prices change frequently especially in the produce department. Overall the savings is worth bagging your own groceries and renting a cart for .25. read more
