The man serving us paused between slicing our food to fiddle with the machine that gives out numbers. He touched it all over with both gloved hands then went back to handling our food without changing his gloves. This is unacceptable and a huge health risk. I feel stupid for not saying something to him. Now I have nearly $20 in deli meat I won't touch because it could be contaminated with who knows what. At this point I don't trust the safety standards in this store.

She went through all the flavor/filling options and what the upcharges were for each. She told us when the best time was to come in and order as well as how far in advance we needed to come in to order. The cake was the perfect size, design was exactly what we wanted, and pricing was very fair! I would absolutely go back for custom cake needs in the future!

But they didn't carry it at this location, but did notice they have a large selection of Polish butter, so we picked one package up. We also noticed they have a decent size olive bar. Even though it was a weekday and not particularly busy, multiple registers (including the Express 15 or less) were open, which was a good sign they are well staffed.

Although, sometimes if you don't buy them right away, you may regret it as you won't see them for another year. Choceur chocolates, and the cheesecake are incredible must have treats. The staff is always willing to accommodate and the checkout is super fast. And for some odd reason, even the customers seem friendlier. Honestly, I'd give it 4. But it's only because it does not have a deli and perhaps more seasonings and spices that I would not read it a 5.

It is a free standing building, located within the strip mall in downtown Bartlett. Because the building was newly built, they modeled it as the new generation of Aldi stores and it set-up exactly the same way as the store that recently opened near our home in Long Beach, CA. It's a very modern store, with a ton of self checkout lines. They still have the quarter-enabled shopping carts (you need a quarter to unlock a shopping cart, and you get it back when you return it), but now they accept credit cards. The prices are still really good, and it had probably the best selection of meat and produce I've seen at an Aldi. Never talk trash about the other guys. Just nice ppl. I cook for 1 or 2 usually and always need a handful of curry leaves. These guys have yet to charge me. These guys still kept the store open and assisted the elderly shoppers around. (I've also seen them do the shopping for the elderly as well.). Anyways, because I didn't have any cash on me and credit machine was down, they told me not to worry about it and just pay them later. It was like $10 worth of stuff, but they didn't even write it down or anything. Just straight up honesty policy. I mean who else still does this for people? Good humans. That's who.
