I do like Aldi , i especially like there isle of shame, it can be a little messy in there sometimes , there parking is great most locations are convenient. There restrooms are cleaner than most other establishments. The service is very helpful always directing me or taking me where the item is located. Clean, well-organized store. Not a place, still, for me to do all my shopping, but nice for a quick stop for essentials, plus they have some interesting oddities. Baby K likes their flavored whipped creams. A bit expensive and small, but, a nice treat. I like their dips. I grab one that's on sale almost every time. They have lots of snacks, a small selection of decent produce, basic dry goods, a few household odds and ends. Worth checking out once in awhile. The store is better than I remember. Clean, well lit, cashiers that seem capable of multitasking when the squash isnt 99 cents but is 99 cents a pound. And it has self checkout. Years ago the checkout lines were a huge turn off. I am still not a fan of Aldi produce because of product inconsistency. Those mandarine oranges can be sweet and delicious and when you return a day later, to the same store, the next batch may be tasteless.Today, I was in the neighborhood and wanted celery and braunschweiger. Excellent price on the braunschwreiger. The celery was 10 cents cheaper than Giant Eagle and Kroger but there wasn't as much in the package. The colored peppers were less fresh and more expensive than Costco. Looking around the aisles, I did not see great savings over Costco, Kroger and Giant Eagle. But my son swears by this place. For me, it was better than I remembered but still just okay. But I like my price on the braunschweiger. read more

I shop at Aldi every week and have even gotten to know several of the employees. They're very nice and very helpful in guiding me to items I can't find. I like their smiling friendliness! The store itself, is always clean and neat. They have wipes at the front door that you can use to wipes off the shopping cart handles and also hand sanitizer for your hands. Most employees wear a mask, which is nice and I appreciate the effort to keep the store sanitized. All in all, shopping here is a pleasant experience. If you haven't tried it, give it a chance. This is a great place to shop if you are looking for a bargain. Don't recommend the produce but everything else holds up pretty well! The have a great selection of cheeses. They also have great deals on home goods sometimes. The store is typically pretty clean. Make sure you bring a quarter so you can get a cart:) read more

If you don't shop at Aldi already, you have to go. I think THIS location is the best one, but if it's not convenient for you, go to any Aldi. They have so many organic products, inexpensive quality wines, fresh produce and fun unique products. I seriously love Aldi and continue to be blown away by how low their prices are compared to the Giant Eagle near my house. THIS Aldi location has been freshly remodeled and it's so nice now. The first time I went in after construction finished, I felt like I was in Whole Foods! It's organized into just 6 easy aisles to shop, making your trip quick and convenient. BRING YOUR OWN BAG! If you're not an Aldi regular, you may be unfamiliar with some of the money-savings tactics. To save money (and pass those savings on to YOU!), Aldi requires you to bring your own shopping bags and pay a $0.25 deposit to use a shopping cart. You'll get your quarter back when you return your cart. This allows cashiers to be more attentive to checking customers out quickly. If you forget your bags, you may be able to snag an empty product box they offer, but these aren't always available. Keep your eyes peeled for Aldi fresh finds, these are often limited edition 3rd party brands that are in your local Aldi store for 1 time (or a few restocks if you're lucky). Don't skip the home goods/random aisle, either. Last time, I picked up two copper moscow mule mugs for $5! The deals are endless at Aldi. Two fave products: kids cheese puffs (don't judge, they're not just for kids) and white cheddar Mac and cheese (so good, at a great price)! read more

Push a quarter into your cart's lock to release it. Re-lock it when finished to retrieve your quarter. Cashier moves your scanned items back into an empty cart, and sends you to a shelf to bag or box your own groceries. It's no frills grocery shopping. If you think it's below you, keep this in mind. Aldi is one of those places I was always kind of deterred (scared?) from but once I went in, I was hooked. Yes, you pay a quarter for a cart (you'll get it back when you return it like a good customer should). Yes, you pay 10 cents for a shopping bag (it's reusable, you know.). All of these little things allows Aldi to offer their products at lower prices, which is a solid trade-off in my book. The interior is kind of small-scale warehouse-y with boxes and stacks of products creating the aisles, but really it's not that bad. Prices are listed on flags above products. Almost everything is the generic Aldi brand, but it's hard to tell with their sly packaging. Cheerio's? Nope - Cheery Oats. Most of their packaged chips, crackers, soups, sauces, dressings, wines (yes, wine) are really pretty good. The area that Aldi lacks (or at least this location in particular) is their produce. Without fail, something has gone bad and remains on the floor, ready to sell. If you're shopping for lettuce, bananas, or onions - beware. On the other hand, I've never been happier with their grape tomatoes or their red and yellow peppers (both about half the price of bigger chain supermarkets). Dairy products are always good here as well, and lately I've noticed a TON of variety in their cheese selections, possibly a carryover from the holiday season. You'll bag your groceries yourself, but don't be too deterred. For certain products, Aldi is the way to go. read more

Great selection, convenient location, quick checkout. I execute grocery shopping with stealth. I do not like the hide and seek routine I'm often in at the store. I like Aldi becuase there's a limited number of items and I go here only for certain things. Namely produce. Their produce isn't watered daily and they go through so much it's really fresh. This location didn't have zucchini. Possibly a seasonal thing, but not uncommon with many Aldi visits. There's usually some items that aren't there. I'm impressed with the cooler section at this location. It's comprehensive with light string cheese, baby bel, dips, salsas, hummus, etc., Their salad bags are a steal and stay fresh longer than regular chain grocery stores! These cashiers are fast. Super on it and get us in and out quickly. I don't mind bagging my own groceries, or adding a quarter to the cart to rent while shopping. I do mind overpriced items, which is NOT something you get here! read more

was in Aldi, E. Broad St around noon on Friday. Was moderately busy. I did not have much in my cart. the clerk dropped bananas in cart (threw is more accurate). I said "you threw the bananas" & was told, no I did not & picked them up & threw them in again. was very belligerent. have never seen this skinny woman before, but will try to avoid her in future. last week the bananas were thrown on top of bread by a young man who at least said sorry. Unlike many of the other Aldi locations, this one is actually fairly well staffed. It's pretty well lit, very clean, and the shelves are never rarely completely devoid of a given item. Just like the other locations, you will find great prices (although they seem to have crept up a bit lately). You can only pay with cash or debt card (possibly check, but I can't verify this, definitely NOT credit card). Feel free to toss your groceries in their leftover cardboard boxes that are on the shelves, instead of paying for bags. They don't mind! read more

This is my first time coming here and I was disappointed. I came in on a Saturday morning at 11am and the parking lot was full. The store had quite a few people who were doing their grocery shopping. There were a few employees stocking and the produce section was a mess due to boxing just being left haphazardly on the floor. When I went to check out there were only two lines and both were full of people with full baskets. I tried to get in one line and was told the line was closed. So they're down to 1 line with a store full of people grocery shopping. I was not impressed. This is not customer service. I won't be back. There are other aldis in Columbus. read more

Love, love, love Aldi! I can fill a cart here for around $80 and I have done the same at other grocery stores for over $200. The self bagging and being herded down the aisles may be a bit annoying, but saving that much money makes it worth it! The lines may look long, but those cashiers can fly through a full cart in record time. I've never been in line more than 5 minutes even when there are three people with stacked carts in front of me. read more

Ok, listen y'all (yeah I went southern, it's that serious haha)... I was a fan of Aldi before the recent remodel. They were the perfect place to get all the French food items for food days in my classroom without spending my entire paycheck. Since the remodel though the inside of the store is legit! It no longer feels like a discount food store you're ashamed to frequent but rather an actual grocery store worthy of the yummy, inexpensive food items they sell. Even my parents, who in the past snickered at my shopping here, are huge fans since this location received it's facelift! Aldi for life. I always stop here first for my grocery shopping. Going to aldi has shrunk my grocery costs significantly and they have just about everything I need every time I go. The staff is always friendly! Their produce can be hit or miss and I hate when I get attached to a seasonal item and then they get rid of it, other than those two things its wonderful. I visited this location a few days before I went to Trader Joe's because one I wanted frozen appetizers for Christmas and getting onto the Easton exit was near impossible, and two everyone knows that aldi and Trader Joe's have some things in common because of being sister companies!! While many things that I wanted at Trader Joe's was not at Aldi, there was a nice amount that was readily available and at a steal.. some things I am beyond happy with; bacon wrapped scallops, cookie butter, feta cheese, wine, chocolate, almond milk, garlic infused olive oil, maple dry rub wings, Brie, mozzarella, marinara, chicken salad, and lemon pasta!! While the list could be longer but I kept my budget at 50 because I was saving myself for my favorite place on earth; Trader Joe's.. the price point at aldi for the quality just can't be touched!! Glad I stumbled over Aldi. Great prices especially the meats, fresh veg, etc. You know, things that cost an arm and leg elsewhere. They don't have everything you may want but they stock most essential grocery. These cashiers come upgraded with motorized arms for speedier than light check out. They are ... Fast.
