What I like the most about them is they carry the most delicious, sinful, succulent, desserts, while at the same time having some of the best tasting, healthy snacks you can find anywhere! Also, very important is I think they have the best produce, when compared to all of the other supermarkets. Some of my favorites include their spinach and kale Greek yogurt dip! I couldn't go on a diet without this stuff! Also, any of their little square brownies are to die for! Their maple leaf cookies are really just amazing, and there's so many more. I put some pictures of my favorites here in this review. I really don't like to go shopping, but I always tagalong when we go here! You can tell a lot of the shoppers are there also for the healthy goodness and wholesome ingredients! As soon as I attempted to open the door, a man ran over and abruptly slammed the doors closed then opened them and made a rude comment. After apologizing for thinking the doors were broken, he stormed off with an attitude. Working as a night nurse, I interact with people throughout my shift and it would be nice to see people extend a bit of grace and understanding from time to time.

I arrived one hour early, but they still allowed for me to pick up my meal. My one gripe about this place was their hot food bar. I didn't feel that the food was that great, but it was also because we went to eat close to closing. This had no impact on my review because I'm sure as the day got later the food quality was different. And I have no doubt that if I ate earlier, the food would have been great!. There's an awesome alcohol and wine selection as well even though I'm not much of a drinker. It's very conveniently located on route 35 and very close to Red Bank. I live in Freehold but I still come to this Whole Foods even though there's one in the Marlboro area.

I also like that I can get fresh clams already in a container so I don't need to shuck them myself, which is very easy for the clams in white sauce. Staff at the fish section are always friendly and if I am not sure about a fish/shellfish, they point me in the right direction for what I need for whatever recipe I am making. Meat section is expensive, but I like the cuts and the freshness of the items, they have fresh rabbit which I am huge fan of eating in stew. Lamb is also very much a staple so they have plenty of options, bone in, bone out, chops and legs. Produce is everything I need especially hard to find items like lemon grass. I do like the pre cut fruits so they have watermelon and mango which is perfect for lunches and after dinner dessert. Deli section the guys are very nice and always slice what I need, sometimes I ask for the end pieces and they are ok with weighing and wrapping it, I have been to other markets and they give attitude or refuse to weigh and wrap it for me. If it is the case, it can be sold!! So, is Wegman's a little pricier than other markets, yes, but you really can't surpass the quality and variety of items. I shop here twice a month and on average spend between $250.-$400. depending on shopping needs for the weeks food items. I also have to add a comment on the restrooms, I can only comment of the ladies, once I made the mistake and went to the staff ladies lounge restroom.. but both the public and staff are clean and well stocked with the basics.

Although there is no store brand, all of their name brand products are even cheaper than those in competing stores. The layout is easy to figure out since it is in the smaller side for a super market. The only thing that isn't great is the amount of variety available but there is enough of each type of product. I'm sure it is because they are in there first couple of weeks from being open but there is not an excessive amount of staff. The ones that were there though we very friendly! A great first experience overall and plan to return soon!!
