Prices are great but this store really shows Aldi care very little about affording customers an acceptable shopping experience.
The store is ALWAYS overcrowded. I have seen a number of near physical alterations break out among customers because there is simply not enough room for shoppers to move around and people become quickly agitated. To make matters much worse, enormous boxes and pallets are left out in the middle of the aisles as the staff struggle to constantly restock the shelves.
It truly is madness.
I feel incredibly sorry for the staff. I go to this store frequently - not once have I seen any of them crack a smile. They are constantly run off their feet and dodging an endless onslaught of stressed out customers.
If you're able to, driving to a bigger Aldi on the outskirts of London will be well worth it. I sincerely hope something gives at this particular branch. The products are good quality and good value for money, hence why I keep going back. I just wish I lived closer to a bigger store so I wouldn't have to dread going shopping.
Please sort it out, Aldi! read more
