One of the reasons I deducted one star is because one of the female cashiers came off as being rude. She said, "If you want a bag, you should've said so" with so much spite. What in the world was going on in her life that she had to take it out on a customer? Meanwhile, on the other spectrum, her coworkers went out of their way trying to help me find shelf stable milk since my hotel didn't have a fridge. So pros: convenient, helps save some money, some of the employees go out of their way to be helpful. Cons: At least one female cashier needs to be spoken to by management about how she talks to customers.

It was very busy inside with what I imagine was mostly the regular weekday comminutors. There are many self-checkouts so the line went fast. They have a delicatessen counter and a variety of hot and cold food; sandwiches, samosas, pies, cakes etc which are mostly 'home made'. They sell hot drinks and of course chilled drinks and they are a licensed off licence so sell alcohol (not at night though). They also sell most other things you would expect to be able to buy in a mini supermarket/newsagents like newspapers, milk, bread, cigarettes, tinned food ... basically a selection of essentials. My only complaint is that some members of staff can be really slow at serving customers and don't even seem to realise. It would be nice if they speeded up a bit! Located in Swiss Cottage just by Finchley Road, Swiss Deli is easy to walk to from Belsize Park, Hampstead, Primrose Hill & South Hampstead areas. Car parking isn't a problem in the evening, at night or on weekends but during the day on weekdays I wouldn't bother as you will end up with a parking ticket. At night there are usually a few mini cabs parked outside while the cabbies nip in to grab a bite to eat and a cuppa tea/coffee. This convenience store used to be called Tobins Ltd and was twice the size and really run down, dingy and rather depressing. It's recently been completely refurbished and is now bright, clean and fresh, but a lot smaller. This shop is listed on Qype as Nickel 'N' Dime but the shop front sign says Swiss Deli so I think that is their current name.
