I bought two quarts of strawberries in June and thought I would get the larger ones but they were not very sweet. Wish I would have purchased the smaller ones. Also bought pound cake that Verhage Farms makes and it was very good The vegetables and fruit are a little pricey and I wont buy the fruit that stays outside in the sun until sold. They are way too ripe. I always go back to this place and try to find something else to try. Glad it is near by.

First: If they have pear cider available, GET IT. It is truly, honestly extraordinary. We went through a few gallons this year, and each drop seems to be nectar of the gods. They are closed for winter, obviously. But when they reopen in spring, here's what to expect: * Enormous tubs of whatever is in season, parked right out front of their doors * Inside shopping for things that need refrigeration (cider!), including lovely bags of spring greens that we always get, and veggies that don't need to be out in the open air * Sort of odd parking. The handicap parking is far away for me. There are two close spots to the right of the doors, and that is not a difficult walk * SO MANY KINDS of everything: apples, squash, pumpkins, well, you know Michigan harvests. You'll find all that and more here. * In the summer, LOVELY jalapenos that we stock up on and freeze for winter *Reasonable prices Tip: Weekends are busy and crowded. The sign said concession stand closed. I saw a number of children playing on the ride so I allowed the children to go and play on the ride. A woman came out of the building and spoke directly to the kids and said you need to have a wristband for that ride. So I went inside to pay! the woman went ballistic on me. Yelling and screaming about how I feel that I am entitled to allow my kids to play on a ride for free. How shameful that she acted a plum fool in front of four kids making them feel bad. I wish i had of recorded Karens bad behavior Even cusstomers, outside were saying how that woman was wrong. Needless to say, we will never be going to VerHage Fruit Farms & Cider Mill ever again. #banned!

If you're looking for fresh fruits and veggies, but someone else you're with just won't have any of those, rest assured they'll have a few sugary goods to select from as well. There's also a playground for small children on the backside of the market, which makes it easy to bring the family! This location is about 1/3 the size of the Bank St. market (from what I've been told) which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but may not be what some new folks might expect. The only downside to a smaller market is that there are fewer price points to select from for your produce. Other than that it's a great place!

First of all, all of our groceries wreaked like cigarette smoke (which is against their driver policies). Then our eggs were all broken and the raw sausage links I bought were opened. That's enough to piss me right off. Aldi was not willing to refund back the tip that they automatically charge to your order, when you order delivery from them. Stacey G. got a huge tip from me and was paid by Instacart, and Aldi refused to do anything about it. The real kicker is what was stolen from us. Yes, items I paid for for dinners this week and Super Bowl snacks were stolen. All items that didn't make it into my bags, yet I paid for them. 12oz Shredded Pepperjack 12oz. This means (for the most part) being able to shop without waiting for someone to take forever to choose something The staff is friendly and quick The produce section is bigger than our other aldis here in town.
