I've only lived in Oklahoma for two years. Before moving here I'd have friends from other parts of the country talk about Aldi all the time. I had no idea that when I moved here it would be my go-to grocery store!!! The products are great, lots of European things our family enjoys, and the prices can't be beat! I am perfectly happy with the no-frills shopping experience!! Personally, i love the bring your own bag thing too (bags are available to purchase for a few coins each) and I don't mind having to put a quarter into the trolly to be able to shop with a cart (It also feels just fine to just fill my reusable grocery bag throughout the store when shopping for just a few things and just taking that to the conveyer belt!) Things to be aware of... They often had limits on the number of a certain item you can purchase. I'm not sure if this was and continues to be a covid/supply chain issue or just how it is. I feed a family with five kids so having a limit of 4 cans of kidney beans just about kills me sometimes but for now beans are back to no limit! Wahoo!!! You will find a few or your typical name brand things, but most of what you are going to find are Aldi or different brands. So be open to exploring new products before you arrive here. PRODUCE! Let me tell you, it's my favorite place for produce. Great prices, good selection and right by the front for quick and easy shopping! Double YES! We spend most of our food budget in the fresh produce section. They have some organics and they aren't astronomical either, so that makes me happy, would love it if this selection was expanded, but for now it'll do. My biggest complaint about this location (since it's the closest one to us it is the one we frequent) is that it feels so much smaller than the one clear across town. I really wish, since there are so few groceries in North Edmond, that they would expand this location and make it bigger (Or better yet... buy the old golf course property off Kelly and Coffee Creek and put a big on in there!! PLEASE?? lol) Anyway... if you are new to Oklahoma (and I know many of you are) give Aldi a try, I hope you're as happy with it as I have been! read more

One of the worst Aldi stores in the area. Cashier has broken items 2 weeks in a row while we were there and today way out day. Carts are in disrepair and bathrooms aren't any better. Expect a lot more from this part of town read more

This Aldi store never has paper sacks and if they do, I guess maybe they just don't order enough. Since they don't order enough paper sacks, or any at all, it makes people have to buy the plastic sacks which cost a lot more. I do not think that is right or whoever's ordering. The products is not ordering correctly for the amount of business that store has. read more

Aldi is a great place for me to pick up little extra essentials and Knick nacks i.e today I got a solar garden light and some candles. I didn't need either but both were well priced. I also love that I can get fresh produce at a reasonable price here. Overall Aldi is a great read more

I shopped at Aldi consistently in LA, and with its low prices, it was a no brainer to search for an Aldi here after we moved. Overall, this Aldi location is pretty comparable. They offer great deals, and I like how organic foods and produce are cheaper here than compared to other stores. The only complaints I have are regarding produce. I have come home with fruit, potatoes, or spinach in a bag, and noticed some of it was rotting the day of or the day after my purchase. However, for the low prices, you can't really complain much. Curbside pickup is so great at this Aldi! I wanted to pick up some last minute things today and they had times available within an hour or two of when I put in my order. When I went to pick it up, it took a total of five minutes for them to bring out my items and load them. The worker was also super friendly. Normally, when shopping inside, they often only have one cashier and checkout can take a painfully long time. I never want to come when in a hurry. This curbside pickup is a game changer. Another perk of ordering online is that you can make sure they have all the items on your list before going to the store. Aldi is extremely limited on what they carry and it's nice to be able to make sure they have something before making the trip. Some of the produce is questionable, although I have had good experience with their avocados in particular. They also have specialty items unique to Aldi that are fantastic. Prices are unbeatable. If you are living on a budget this is a great option. read more

For the longest time I refused to go into Aldi. Something about the place just weirded me out, I could never put my finger on it. Since I've gotten over that I enjoy coming here. The foods are differently branded but the prices are a lot lower so I like that aspect and it's not compromising on quality. They're not a huge store but the availability of items is always great because I've never seen them go low on anything. The only knock on them is the checkout process. Usually they are moderately busy but I find myself waiting on more cashiers to arrive to check out their customers. Most of the time there is only one person checking out customers with 25+ items in their carts opposed to me with my 5 items. I'll survive though because I saved money in the long run. read more

The first Aldi's I went to was in the U.K. and it was seriously a box store. It put me off of wanting to try this one. However, the prices and the quality of the non perishable items and the dairy keep me coming back. If you're going to try Aldi, this is the best store in the area! I've tried the one off Penn and turnpike and the one off NW Expressway and they give me bad dreams. One star off because some things are weird for a germaphobe. The fruit and veg are displayed out of a cooling case because they constantly bring out fresh, but I've picked up some stinky potatoes that I had to return after checkout (when I caught a whiff as I bagged). I've lived in other cities where all stores have you bring bags or pay for them and it doesn't bother me. They DO have bags, you just have to get them from under the checkout belt. It's not for everyone, but I recommend giving it a try. I buy $200 of groceries each week for $125 at Aldi. read more

Discovered Aldi when we moved to Missouri in 1986. I had to adjust to bagging my own groceries in every single store in St. Louis so this was no big deal. If it hadn't been for Aldi, I could not have fed my family. I was so excited when they opened in Oklahoma! Now, I shop there because I can!! Love Aldi!!!! read more

This Aldi has a huge selection of items! They even have household items like lamps, blankets, bowls and storage baskets. I didn't check out any of the produce but the canned items and meats are awesome. The organic salsa is awesome and the nitrate-free bacon for $3.99 is greattttt!!!! I love that this Aldi also has super cheap dog food, that was super handy to stock my tornado shelter! The big parking lot was super convenient and it wasn't super busy this morning. read more

We normally have a great experience at all Aldis. Not this one. We had a cart full. At the checkout we were told we had too much of two different items. There were no "limit" signs on either of the items. We spent all the time gathering everything only to find that out at ckout. We told them to just keep the whole cart. This happened on Friday, July 24 in the evening. We will not be frequenting this Aldis anymore. Update: we went to another Aldi's and it was as it usually is. We were not harassed about buying any large amounts. read more

I really wish I liked Aldi more than I do, because I love the concept and prices on produce and dairy. But everything else is kinda bleh. I don't love their meat selection. I know it changes often, but the ground beef we got wasn't my favorite. It was organic, but the label said the meat was from a ton of different countries, and I'm sorry, but that scares me a little. So I just don't think I'll be buying meat from Aldi again, but I will come back for produce, milk, eggs and frozen items. We love to stock up on fresh veggies and produce at Aldi! That is the absolute best thing about this place. Also, my husband adores the Clancy's pork rinds. It's a great store if you have a large family to feed on a budget, but I personally think I'd rather go to Uptown or Homeland for the bulk of our groceries if I can help it. read more

I feel like I always was so negative about this place, because I didn't want to pay for a shopping cart or bags. However, I gave it another shot yesterday because it's literally right outside of my neighborhood. I will say, they DO have a wide variety of supplies. Their prices are definitely a bit cheaper than others. I was able to run in, grab a lb of raw chicken, a gallon of milk, some rolls and some seasoning for $8. I felt like that's not too bad, especially for the chicken that could be my meals all week. I got enough to what I could carry in my arms, because I didn't have any of my recycled bags on hand. However, I will say my BIGGEST complaint about this store is their cashiers. I had come a few times to just stop in and grab something... and they NEVER have more than two cashiers. So then you have to wait 10 minutes to buy one bag of potatoes. Last night, they had two as I walked up, and then one closed. Um, hello? You still have a line of about 8-10 people trying to get out of here. Hire one more employee to stay on the clock, please. They do seem to have pretty good selection of meat, however many of their other items are not name brand.. I saw another review about that. So if you're looking for specific stouffer's brand etc, forget about it. It was nice to see that they had some home-items as well. Pillows, shower heats, mini heaters. Quite an eclectic area of the store, but nonetheless good to see. I'll give this store a few more tries, however, I don't think I'll be doing my full load of shopping here. read more

Usually a pleasant experience for me! They always have what I need and it's never crowded! There are certain things Aldi's won't have, like name brand items, but I'll take the off brand and not go to Walmart! The lines are usually backed up because they are short staffed, but patience is a virtue and I get to practice mine often! read more

We love Aldi for their consistently low prices and great quality food. We also enjoy the variety of European imported foods. It reminds us of traveling abroad without leaving Oklahoma. I wish I could give Aldi 10 stars because I love it that much! The price you pay for the quality of the product is why we keep coming back. Feeding a family of 5, Aldi allows our budget to go alot further than at other grocery stores. The meat and produce are comparable if not better than crest/Walmart/uptown. I love Aldi for the pricing and selection. It has most of what you need without 18 options of each to take up your time. The quality of the Aldi-specific brands is really good, and I love the strange imported goodies I can find each visit. Reminder, carts are rented for a quarter (.25) and its BOYB (bring your own BAGS) unless you can find some loose boxes to haul your groceries home. Store layout is fairly user friendly (wheelchair accessible) and clean. Store clerks was fast and courteous, however I will say his speed in slinging items into my basket completely defeated the purpose of organizing the groceries on the belt. If that's my only issue, I think we'll be OK! read more

I don't regularly shop at Aldi's, but when I do, this is the location I come to. They have very affordable selection of foods. My previous experience on Tuesday, June 28th, 2016, left me speechless for words. I had just gotten out of a 13 hours work shift and stopped by to get some bread, and other items for dinner. I didn't get a shopping cart because I only purchased a few items that I could carry. Now for those who don't know, Aldi's cashiers sit while they work and since their prices are so affordable they don't have bags so the cashiers really has it going for them to do ONE job. So, at checkout, Tkeira, the cashier asked me to fetch her a grocery cart so she can scan my items to put in it. The cart was parked at another check out line (note: it was not my grocery cart and the cart was behind her, and further from me). I was appalled! Now, I went and got it for her while she sat there waiting, but I was not happy. I was left to wonder whether she was glued to the seat per Aldi's policy or the prices were so affordable that customers have to do their employee's job for free. Regardless, after working 13 hours, I just wanted to get out of there with my groceries so I could go home. Aldi's doesn't have a customer service line I could call, and I hope someone there from the store sees my review because what happened was unacceptable. read more

This is such an odd grocery store. You have to put in a quarter to get a grocery cart (although you do get it back at the end), bring your own bags or buy them and then you have to bag your own groceries. I understand trying to save on costs but they can't even bag your groceries? The prices are a little bit cheaper with their own brand of products but not so much that I'd consider it a great deal. I just moved here from Stillwater, Oklahoma where I shopped at Aldi's all the time, We used to just buy the canned goods because the prices were so good. But eventually I started trying some of your other products like soup and speghetti sauce and discovered they were superior to the name brand products I get at Walmart, The more things I tried the more I was convinced that they were better. The only complaint that I have is that the location of the store is on the west side of Edmond and the traffic in Edmond is horrific. I am a senior and don't drive anymore so my daughter has to drive me and she doesn't like the traffic. I wish you had a store closer to Hiway I-35 on the east side of town. I know that you would have a lot of business because a lot of rural customers come to the Walmart and Sams store which is on the Frontage Road to I-35. Hope you'll consider. Aldi is AMAZING! This location is smallish, but I still love it. We came here from Germany, and since Aldi was started there, it's like being home. They even sell some German favorites of ours! They just finished, or they're about to finish, some remodeling. It's always been a clean, well-stocked, and friendly store. I usually get in and out pretty quick, and that's an important factor for me. I don't want to wait in the line too long. A lot of people think Aldi is a generic store it's low or poor quality food, but it's actually a German store with excellent, European quality food. They have some unique bread and pastry selections. And during the holidays they have European (mainly Belgium) treats and chocolates that you can't find anywhere else at that price. Most of their food is a discount brand, but it doesn't taste like it. They're definitely a store to visit if you're on a budget or fixed income. You're going to get way more for your buck, and you don't have to compromise quality or freshness. Be aware however that some name brand things they will not carry. For instance, my kids like Fruit Roll Ups and they don't have them. They do have an Aldi brand selection of fruit snacks that my kids like. And their Aldi brand chips and cookies are not bad. I would recommend it to anyone to give it a try. read more

My first visit to this store, and my last. When the lady in front of me was a bit slow getting things out of the takeout cart the cashier had put her items into, he put mine in the same cart. As we were both standing at the cart trying to take our items out, he shoved the cart, presumably to make room at the end of his lane. However he had not even asked us to move aside, didn't say a word, and pushed the cart right into me, making me drop items that I was trying to remove from the cart. When the lady in front of me protested, he rudely snapped, "I've got a line here!" That cashier was lucky to not need surgery to remove that cart from the place I had an impulse to shove it. read more

If you haven't shopped at Aldi, give it a try. Yes, it's very different from what we're used to, but their prices are incredible. There are never many cashiers, but they move so so fast that you will blink and 4 people have already checked out. They fit a decent selection into a small store. Aldi is a supermarket originated from Illinois. They have very good prices on all their items. The cashiers are fast and friendly. Their parking lot is private. You can buy grocerie bags there.
