Some of the strawberries have mold & fuzz on them throughout the entire batch.

For the 3rd time I've visited Aldi i have found rotten produce. Their commercials say, " Aldi produce is delivered fresh daily" That's a false claim. No way these strawberries were delivered today. 3 times a charm, I'm heading to Butera from now on!

Long line. One register open. Slow, old cashier. For the last 4 months this store is changed in the worst possible way.

Jerry's Fruit & Garden has quickly become one of my favorite places to shop. They have an…read moreincredible selection of fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables you probably won't find at a typical grocery store. Everything I've bought has been fresh, and the prices are honestly some of the best I've seen in a long time. Some of the deals I found were amazing: strawberries for just $0.98 a pack, a large pack of raspberries for $3.98, chicken breasts for $1.98 per pound, and ribeye steaks for $9.99 per pound. With grocery prices being so high these days, stores like this are such a huge help. The only downside is that weekends are extremely busy, so I'd recommend going first thing in the morning if you can. Even with the crowds, it's absolutely worth the trip. Great quality, unbeatable prices, and a fantastic place to stretch your grocery budget!

The wife says we came here once before many years ago but I don't remember it.  They've been at it here for 53 years since 1972. Normally, we avoid it due to the madhouse scene that is usually here (like when traffic can't even enter the parking lot from busy Milwaukee Ave because the parking lot is overflowing lol).  Well, it was -3F on a frigid Friday night and we were across Milwaukee Ave at the Jewel, and it was eerily quiet in Jewel, and we thought it was as good a time as any to also visit Jerry's lol. Well, it was relatively calm, and we found a close by parking spot, but there were still plenty of shoppers in Jerry's.  Their inventory is huge and truly impressive as are their prices.  No wonder this place is so super popular.  We picked up some cherries for $2.49 per lb and strawberries at a promo price of $0.79 per 1 lb container.  I would say 4.5 stars for our visit tonight, but really on their normal super-crowded shopping basis, I would still say 3 stars overall.  I don't personally think the hassle factor of shopping here for fruits and vegetables is worth it for the savings and the variety of offerings, thus the 2 star deduct.  But you have to decide for yourself, and apparently for many others, Jerry's is well worth the trip, and kudos to Jerry's for that and continued good luck and success to them.

But, very extensive selection of items. Lots of free samples around the store too. If you enjoy exploring new foods, this is a great place! Also, the food court offers quick, authentic Korean food. My only negative is the bibimap barely had any meat and was not as good as some others I've had. But, still decent. Overall: highly recommend. Great Asian market.

They just lost some business. I won't be back here either. The atmosphere is noisy and feels like a public transit station. Hell the elevator even smells like a bus station elevator! Gross!!! I do like the grocery store but that's about all this place is useful for. Skip the food court everyone raves about. It's not that great. It's just an average chain restaurant quality product. You can get better at a real restaurant for the same prices without the horrid racket of the grocery store. This place is legit louder than being in an Equinix server cage room!!! (See prior review for grocery store. Grocery here is 10/10. This review covers only the so called dining court. Two restaurants owned by the same people does not make a dining court. It's a monopoly in the dining court!)

On July 27, 2024 I had the opportunity to shop your store. I was on my way home from Chicago, and…read moreneeded to stop at a grocery store and this was the most convenient as I live in the northern suburbs, and typically do not shop here. The store was very clean and well-stocked, I was very pleased with the selection of items for which I was shopping. When I checked out however, my pleasure changed to pure annoyance. The checker, Christopher, was less than stellar and quite frankly appeared to hate his job. I had a baguette from the bakery which was not marked (no one was around to help me so I bagged it myself). He called someone over who seamed to be a manager for a price check. I told him it was $2.79 to which he replied, he still needed it checked. So this person took my bread back to the bakery. While she was gone, he continued to ring up my order. As he was scanning, I discovered I forgot to put a duplicate item back. I asked him to please remove it, that I didn't need it. With an exaggerated gasp, he said he needed the manager. I apologized and said ok, I simply forgot to remove it. Then, another customer behind me started putting her groceries on the belt, and Christopher threw his hands up and pointed to the register next to him and said, "there's no one over there". The woman looked a little confused and continued to unload her groceries. At this point I was really annoyed and said, "perhaps you should find a job you actually enjoy". To which he replied, "just because I don't like my job doesn't mean I don't do it well." I think I said something like, I don't think you do it as well as you think you do. At this time the woman came back with my bread with a label on it and handed it to him. He sarcastically asked her for the key to void the item I didn't need and took that item off. I started bagging my own groceries so I could expedite my departure from your store. I'd like to mention, the person who went for the price check was then just standing there watching me bag my groceries (her ID on the receipt is #112). As I was paying, I looked at Christopher and leaned a little to the left so I could see his name tag. He actually turned away from me so I couldn't see it! (I found his name on my receipt.) What a miserable and sad employee. I realize this may not be a life career for him, but he is an extremely poor representative of this store.

My advice be careful because you would surely be overcharged and the employees are no help. They are only wanting to fight with you and not respect the prices in their printed ads.
