a car parked in front of a store
Judy S.

My first time at this location. The parking area is nice and big. I liked that. The store is easy to spot for Stirling RD. Inside the store, everything looked very clean and organized. I was surprised to see the variations of things this store carried. It had diapers, chips, wine, cookies, fruits, baby shoes, wrapping paper, etc, etc. I came in looking for a certain bread and walked out with more things lol. I walked through the first aisles and did not fully see everything the store had to offer. I frankly was too tempted to keep buying more things. The store has such interesting stock. Things I had not seen before in stores that sounded good. I am talking about the chip aisle which is across from the bread section. I liked the store. It has good prices and is a good place to find interesting food items.

Reasonable prices and great quality food items. This supermarket offers a great variety of fruits, veggies, meats, cold meats, breads as well as wines, snacks, frozen and cleaning supplies. The store is always tidy and the shelves are always restock with new and excellent products. Parking is always available.

Aldi is truly a hidden gem-- not enough people appreciate or care to try it, but friends, it's totally worth it. For the first timers, try to come when you have some time to look around -- you will always find something new to try. Having said that, there are a few things to consider: -You need 25c to get a cart. Furthermore every single Aldi I've been to has some sort of issue with the carts being stolen, so it's a good idea to come prepared. -No two Aldi's are the same. Sure, you will find the same brands & prices, however they vary in terms of organization, how stocked they are, etc. [To give you an example: The Aldi along Washington st never seems to have mozzarella cheese and is not nearly as well stocked as it should be. However lines tend to move a bit quicker there. ] -You will likely not find help finding items or reaching an item on a high shelf. It's just the way it is, and the checkout counter is really not the place for chatting up the cashier (most are not unfriendly, they are trained to focus on productivity). & finally - If you like an item from their " here now, gone tomorrow" section, take a few as it's likely not going to be there next time. ** This location JUST updated their checkout area & now offers *several* self-checkout booths for credit card payers. Fingers crossed it speeds up the process as long-lines are the biggest issue besides the lack of carts. ** You will 100% save money compared to shopping at other grocery stores -- for me, I pay around $100-$150 for a full cart. There is a big parking lot with entrances next to the gas station or through the side street. TL;DR-- you need 25c to get a cart (you get it back), not a lot of staff available throughout the store, be mindful of items that are seasonal & may not be there in the future. & last, if you're a first timer come with enough time to explore!

1-22-23 So my BFF had errands to run and so did I so I gave her a lift. Her errand was to come here. I had never been so thought this will be interesting. The parking lot was packed. Once we found a spot we looked for a shopping cart. But wait you pay a quarter and than it releases itself from the others that are chained up. Since we already were carrying our own reusable bags we skipped getting one. Once inside not what I expected like a wholesaler where all the items were stacked out in their original cartons. A big turn off for me was that they were still selling Christmas holiday items as if the holiday didn't pass a month ago. The selection was interesting some brands you know such as Twinkies but for the most part you never heard of most of this stuff. I saw a four pack of blueberry muffins and grabbed for my hubby. I could smell the blueberries from outside the carton. Also I grabbed a dozen eggs since I was out of them. After we got on our choice of two ginormous lines or self checkout line that was even longer. It gave me time to look around and access the situation. For me it lacked a lot of things including the floors were filthy. Therefore for me it truly is a hard pass of ever returning on purpose. In fact when I got home my hubby, he had the blueberry muffins and preferred the ones at Trader Joe's with the sugar crystals on top instead.

I stopped by this location to pick up groceries a few days ago, during the coronavirus crisis. My standards for Aldi stores are pretty low, since I know what I want to get there and know I need to go with a quarter in my hand, for a shopping cart, and my reusable bags. When you're saving a ton of money on groceries but have to pay with cash or with debit (there are fees for credit card charges) and you see customers taking empty shipment boxes that are often left in dollys around the stores, you know there's a lot of self service needed on your part. The cart I got had been abandoned in the parking lot and had a locked front right wheel. I dragged it to the entrance and was able to get an employee from the inside being a unlocking device out so that the cart could roll again. I understand that the locking function on the carts serve the security purpose of preventing theft from store premises, and many other stores use this, but I've only seen the locking of the cart wheel occur at Aldi stores. This cart was in a parking space and well on the store premises. It's a little inconvenient to get a cart that's not functioning and having to spend time getting it fixed that could have been spent getting in and out of the store. There was some produce missing from the shelves---produce is what I mainly go for since it is cheap and fresh depending on what you get---but the store employees were restocking it with whatever they had. They limited the number of canned foods that each person can buy to 4 per purchase, which is much appreciated. Canned beans are coming in clutch with all of the meat and egg shortages. I was impressed that milk was in stock (though I didn't buy any). Aldi has a lot of own brand versions of well known products that are of solid quality and at great value. I love their pita crackers, fudge coconut/mint chocolate cookies (knockoff Samoas and Thin Mints), seasoned almonds, yogurts, brown rice and quinoa pasta, and most recently their meatless frozen products. Their meatless meatballs are better tasting than ones I've gotten from other grocery stores! Also, their Winking Owl wines are no joke for being $2.90 a bottle. I've given them to some friends who have had way more expensive wines and they've enjoyed them without knowing how cheap they are! Go for the Chardonnay, Shiraz and Merlot. The Cabernet Sauvignon tasted way sweet, like they added sugar to it. As long as you know you're not going to get stellar interpersonal service and prepare with your cart quarter and reusable bags, you should be fine having a shopping experience here. It is worth it for the money you're saving!

We were very excited to hear about they are opening up and Aldi store near our area. Even though we have never personally shop there, but from what we hear from friends and family, it seems like a cool place to shop. After the "Penn Dutch" scare, we decided to pay a visit here and see what they got. From the outside the store looked very cool and we thought we may get some nice and interesting stuff there. But when we walked in, it was anything but what we imagined. Maybe we held our expectation so high it was impossible for the store to meet our standards. But I guess when the prices of their items were so low, there is a reason for it. Basically the items were just left in the original boxes they came in with right on the shelves, thus saving the time and effort of taking items out of boxes and put them on the shelves. On the price point of view, yes they do have pretty good deals. We were able to pick up a few things but the selections are not just not there yet. And this is supposed to be a brand new store, but I don't see the management taking good care of the store as I can see dirty floors and holes in the walls in some area already. We will probably come back for some produce as they do have decent selection on that.

This Aldi, located along Stirling Rd., had its grand opening just before Christmas. Same scenario at this location - you need $0.25 to unlock a shopping cart then lock back the cart to get the quarter back (had to show two people how to retrieve their quarter), and you need to bring your own tote bags to pack your groceries, otherwise you can purchase bags from the store. There is plenty of parking around the premises, but you have to maneuver very carefully to avoid hitting other cars passing and/or people walking by. Came here to check the place out and do a bit of food shopping. In my opinion, this location is large and more nicer with wide organized aisles. You can find a vast variety of items such as packaged meats, fresh fruits & vegetables, dairy products, frozen items, bread, wine, and many more. The prices are low and affordable and the cashiers at the check-out are pleasant. I may come back here again if I am ever in the area.

Awesome new Aldi. Big and roomy. Great feel to store. Large wide isles and more merchandise than any other local Aldi. Worth the drive if you are in the area.

This new review is for Aldi online shopping with Curbside Pickup. I gave it 5 stars but I wish I could give it more because their system is a rare case of absolute perfection. Here's how it works: You open the Aldi app and click on Grocery Delivery & Curbside Pickup. I then choose View in Safari. I click Pick Up. And then I choose my items and it gives me a list of times my food can be ready. I pick a time. Then it shows me the items that might be in low inventory and asks me item by item if I have another choice or if I wish to not replace the item if it's not available. From there, every time, my shopping is done with no drama, all my items (or replacements) are found and available, and every time (so far) my shopping is ready early. The app asks me to let them know when I'm on the way. I click this as I am leaving my driveway. When I turn onto Griffin Road from I-95 (1/2 mile away) the app tells me my items are arriving at the curb. As I am turning in to Aldi's I can see my items are at the curb in the special and very well marked pick up area. I back in and pop the rear door and the person managing my order loads them in my car. That's it. Everyone is wearing masks. The prices are very similar ( it's hard to tell because Aldi's is fair priced to begin with and prices right now are climbing, but the milk I buy is 50 cents a half gallon less with Aldi Pick up than Publix in store) There is no waiting and until I turn on to Griffin Road my items are in a freezer or refrigerator, neatly packed waiting for me. And there is always a parking slot open. Like I said. Perfect. Tip- remember to back in

Still open for food shopping!

If you drive to the Patch, I would also highly recommend bringing a towel per person for the car. You will get dirty and may not wish to sit in your car with a muddy backside. This is a rewarding experience, very calming, and great for kids (I would say 10+ so long as they are well behaved as running around and general horseplay is not tolerated or appreciated). Dania Beach Patch does sell what it grows to the public. Their tiny market is open Mon-Sat 8a to 10a. Everything is fresh (obviously!). I'm very happy with everything I have purchased.
