So- I've been to a handful of Aldis a handful of times and wasn't impressed. A few neighbors swear by it but the produce I got barely lasted 2 days and just didn't see the big deal. Covid started and my sister started using this Aldi and I nanny her boys so an familiar with all of the foods she was getting delivered. So I stopped in. Update (8/25/18): I originally had this at 5 stars and knocked down to 4 after the remodel. The first thing I noticed after the remodel was the prices. They're higher. I came out of the store paying more for my typical groceries this time around. I guess it's back to checking out the Crystal Lake Marianos. 2017 I'm always impressed when I enter this Aldi. The store is neatly organized and you can't beat the prices. They've expanded their gluten free section and now accept credit cards. I've been going here for groceries for the past year. I can't get 100% of my groceries here, but the Walmart or Jewel usually has what I need. The staff are also friendly, although there seems to be a lot of turnover. read more

I was very skeptical of Aldi and the first one I went to was in the city. I remember not being impressed at all with the produce. But we moved out to Cary and this Aldi is very different. It's hard to really complain about cheaper food. There is some quality drop off on a few things, but all and all the store is a gem. It's our go-to for all the basics like bread, milk, eggs and such. The prices are very consumer friendly. I noticed there was a review about the quality of the store employees. I disagree. I've found the employees to be friendly, helpful and generally professional. Aldi demands a lot of their employees, which they just to keep costs down, so they are always running around working. They work harder than most and I hold hard workers in high esteem. read more

I love this store. They got a fairly large selection of just about everything you need but the prices are phenomenally low. And most of their products go by the European quality so no GMO or other crap like that. It's not exactly Whole Foods but it's definitely a big step in that direction. read more

We recently moved into the neighborhood and Aldi is the closest grocery store to us besides Jewel. At our last place we were spoiled to have a Mariano's within a few minutes of us. In an effort to be "budget conscious" we decided to take what I call the Aldi Challenge. We are slowly adding in some of the Aldi versions of our favorite foods. So far we are very impressed with what Aldi has to offer. The frozen and take and bake pizzas are amazing. The fresh fruit and vegetables are really good as well. The cheese section is really good with some really good gourmet meats and cheeses available. My wife particularly likes their chicken salad. Their baby back ribs are spectacular and I can't wait to smoke them again for some family and friends. I eat a lot of their health foods, I believe they're called "Fit and Active" and they are way cheaper and just as good as the stuff in the big brand stores. So far, we are a believer in the power of Aldi. Not to mention that you can get a whole BOX of food for half or less than what you'd pay at a major retailer. This store in Cary is very clean and the staff is very friendly. It is a lot better than some that I've been to in the past. read more
