I'm a simple guy, I like that it's streamlined and easy to navigate. So far all I've gotten from there has been good consistently. They primarily carry their house brands and few national brands are seen. I feel the quality has been good and appreciate the value. Aldi is my go to for produce and good finds in general. This visit had no purpose lol, I just wanted to browse. I found a cute waterproof poncho that can double as a blanket, fur bootie slippers, a wireless mouse that was on sale, and some specialty dessert cups. The meat at Aldi is generally cheaper than other large grocers and they have lots of gourmet meats and cheeses that I enjoy and have made charcuterie boards with in the past. Don't let the quarter for a basket and needing to bring your own bags or pay for them deter you from good bargains and quality products! To be honest, I only shop at Aldi for the cat litter ($3.99 for a huge container). I do know they have a great selection of grocery items at a discount. That whole 'basket' thing confuses me though, I guess because I never need a basket - so when I come through the line, I mess up the process. read more

The prices are better than at the other leading grocery stores. I go the the Bartlett location on Sundays, since I work in the same area. The cashiers who work there on Sunday mornings are very rude , especially one of them. She behaves like she does not want to be there, and lets her frustration out on customers. She throws boxes and items in front of customers, like she hates the world. I continue to experience disorganization at the cash register. This morning, the cashier told me to stand in another line, which did not have a cashier. She did say that the line will open in a few minutes. However, there were other customers coming to the register where she was, and she went ahead and rang those customers up. The customers came after I came. To me, it seems like the cashiers don't respect anybody's time. I was there on my lunch break. They should not be telling one customer to go to the other line, but still take the ones coming afterwards. read more

If you're on a tight budget, or you just like a good deal, you'll find a lot of very inexpensive grocery items at ALDI. It's nothing fancy, nothing flashy, just basic foods in cardboard crates -- you'll find daily deals, and they run out quickly. Meats, produce, and snacks. I spotted some Del Monte cherry tomatoes that looked to be in great condition for $1.50. A 20 pack of Black Forest fruit snacks for $3.99, and some juice pops that have identical ingredients as Minute Maid juice pops for at least two dollars less. Basically, everything is ALDI brand, and they manage to keep their overhead low. Bring your own bags, no frills, smaller stores, and that's why your pretzels -- which taste just as good as the other guys' -- are so much cheaper. All in all, a good deal. read more

I stop in here for odds and ends from my grocery list that are cheap but still decent quality. I usually don't interact much with the employees and most of my experiences are fine. Sometimes, all of an item I'm shopping for is crushed or smells like dirty feet (bananas), but you get what you pay for. However, I don't like that sometimes it takes a single employee to really ruin it for me, but in this case, a single employee did exactly that for multiple people. An older woman who was a sensible shopper had all of her groceries in a reusable shopping bag. She put them on the belt and then when it was her turn, placed the bag in the cart that they always toss your groceries into. I understand the cart is there to facilitate speed. The lady smiled and said "I have my bag here so you can just throw my groceries back inside". He replied "No ma'am, I will put them in the cart (around your bag) and you can pack it yourself". She (and I) could not understand what would have been so hard about tossing it into her bag... I was after her in line. He started whipping my groceries into the same cart where the other lady's groceries still were as she was trying to quickly gather her things. When he noticed our things were getting mixed up he started picking her stuff up and handing it to her. What?Then he got up and walked away from the register without notifying the people in line behind me if he was even coming back. Just put a sour taste in my mouth. I'll still go because I go for the prices and not the customer service, but they could use a little bit more of that. Maybe I'll find a different Aldi location. read more

I was just In this location..I've never shopped at this store period. However, in the cage was one single onion. I wanted to purchase it and the manager wouldnt allow it..now I asked her what was she going to do with the onion, and she said throw it away..why the hell would u throw it away when she could've just given the onion to me..if it was a full bag of them I wouldve purchased the bag ..I WILL NEVER EVER STEP FOOT IN ALDI'S FOOD STORE AGAIN! ! That was a damn shame!!! I even asked the cashier to change me for something else to purchase that one onion...smdh!!! read more

I love this place! Yes, you have to bring a quarter, but that makes the lot clear of wayward shopping carts. But the food is good and cheap - especially the fruits and vegetables, and they have the fastest cashiers I've seen anywhere. My only complaint is that sometimes there's just not enough of them. read more

I went to the Aldi on Kirby Whitten in Bartlett TN. It was my first time at that location. I purchased L'OVEN FRESH Parmesan Romano Garlic bread. I assumed that it would be frozen, and I had to ask where it was. No big deal. I was directed to a cart of bread, grabbed what I needed and came home to cook. The bread was last to go in the oven because it only takes 8-10 minutes. I pre-heated my oven, opened the bread, pulled the 2 halves apart, and it was covered with mold! Needless to say, we won't be having bread tonight! read more

I went to my Bartlett, location today 12/20/2017 at 10:am & the aisles were covered with pallets of stock. So I left and came back at 3:pm, same story, so clogged up, you could not shop. I left and went to Kroger. Shame, Shame!!!! read more

There was a terrible young girl that checked us out. She scanned an item twice and looked at me stupid when I mentioned it. When she got through with my order, she just stared at me and then said she took that extra item off. She was a mute! Got out to my car and realized she never took it off. Aldi is my favorite grocery store. I can always get a good low price on certain vegetables like celery, carrots, mushrooms, and 3-pepper packs. Their canned and frozen foods are excellent and low-priced. Many of their items, the frozen pies, cakes, and baked goods, are much better than American-made ones. The taste is better and they use less sweeteners than the American brands. They also have frequent specialty items--I got my favorite non-stick bundt pan from there! The only items i don't like from Aldi's are the ice-cream (strange taste) and the potato chips (which are far too salty). read more
