Review for Aldi during COVID19. They've suspended the quarter for a cart during this time. There's an employee stationed in front of the entrance handing out carts. Everyone entering must have a cart, they've been using this to limit the amount of customers in the store. There's a plexiglass barrier at the register but it doesn't appear that they're wiping down anything (belt, credit card machine, etc) in between customers. read more

The best prices. Fresh fruit and vegetables. Fast and easy. Dairy and cheese great quality. Many items have no preservatives.

My wife and I stopped into Aldi for the first time and I didn't quite know what to expect. I knew they did a lot of their own brands, that you had to bring your own bags or buy their paper or plastic bags and that you put a quarter in the handle of the shopping cart to release it from the other carts (you get the quarter back when you drop off the cart). But other than that, I didn't know too much. On our first visit we picked up a few things, enough to fill one paper bag, and spent about $30. From what we've tried so far, I can tell you that the chocolate bars are awesome -- they're from Austria. I also like the Dark Roast Blend ground coffee - I just had some this morning. From what little I've learned of Aldi, they're based in Germany and follow a European style shopping experience (explaining the shopping cart situation and supplying your own bags). They tend to have one brand for all of their products, mostly their own house brand vs. the typical national names. The products tend to come in just one size (like sour cream, cans of beans, etc.) We thought the prices were really good on most things we checked out. The store itself is small, maybe a little larger than a CVS but way smaller than a full-fledge grocery store. They do have fresh produce, milk, eggs, bread, etc. in addition to canned goods, meats and frozen items. My wife and I both thought it would be a good place to go if you were planning a party -- they have a lot of selection of heat & eat hors d'oeuvres, cheeses and crackers. They also have a decent selection of organic and/or gluten-free items. They *do not* accept manufacturer's coupons. You *can* get additional cash back from debit card purchases like you can at other places (other grocery stores, Target, Walmart, etc.) If you forget your own reusable shopping bags it's not the end of the world. A full size paper bag is only $.06 and a plastic bag is only $.10. read more

Today on Christmas Eve I went here with my mom and a women with blue hair attended to us on the line this women was so rude my mom and I were together and I told her to wait to put my moms things in the cart she proceeded On throwing everything into cart and was in a rush but the good part is that there was no line she was just rushing throwing our things that we paid for in the cart as if it wasnt important I will not be coming here again aldi pays there workers pretty good for you guys to be having such disgusting customer service read more

Aldi is my go to grocery store. If you want to save lots of money, do yourself a favor and shop here. Their brands are just as good or better than brand name products. I'm pretty sure the brand names just make their brands as well. They have lots of organic options as well!! One of our favorite things to buy is their version of girl scout cookies. They don't advertise them as girl scout cookies but you'll know which ones I mean...thin mints, the peanut butter patties and Carmel delight-ish. Absolutely wonderful! I love to shop here because I have 2 little ones and their carts seat 2 right up front. You do have to put a quarter in to get a cart but you get it back when you return the cart. Also, take your own bags or you can buy some for a nominal fee at the register. I also love to shop here because with 2 little ones time is of the essence. We need to shop fast or else they will get wild. I'm usually in and out of Aldi in less than a half hour compared go over an hour at Giant or Wegmans. The cashier's are always friendly and welcoming. Great place to shop if you want to save money on groceries. Very large selection of food. Checkout is always fast. I never bring enough bags to cover my purchases. Be sure to bring your bags. They also have boxes you can use the load your groceries. Bags can be purchased at checkout. Masks are required. Social distancing is enforced. Also bring a quarter for the shopping cart. read more

I love Aldi in general but this location in particular (and it's my local Aldi), definitely needs to be updated as compared to other Aldi locations I've been to. It's smaller than most so your selection is even a little more limited than what you have at the larger locations. I think the staff do a great job and are always so nice when I go. I've never had an issue with any food I've purchased there and it's great to save so much money as compared to other grocery stores, but this Aldi is in definite need of some updating. read more

Nice selection of food at good prices. The two-star rating is due to mis-pricing and response to quality of some vegetables. In my last visit, five items were mis-priced, with check-out prices exceeding advertised prices. Some vegetables were very well past prime to which the manager responded with something like "it happens"; it shouldn't. The above seems to be unique to this Aldi's. read more

I've visited the MacArthur location a few times before this one opened up and now I love this one since it's closer or more convenient for me. The store is clean, well stocked, and the prices are very good. You just have to put up with the fact that there are usually only a couple cashiers working, but it's because I think they are responsible for a lot of other tasks besides just ringing things up. You do have to buy your own bags (10 cents each) and bag them yourself but it's not a big deal. During the summer I was in here at least 2 times a week buying strawberries and blueberries because they were priced cheaper than any other grocery stores, even beating out Wal-Mart. And the brands of the fruits were usually the same as the ones in the other stores. There are also many other store brand items but they do carry national brands but not as much. Eggs and milk are cheaper here than most places too. But they do not take credit cards, only cash and debit cards. read more
