Everything from lot viewing to shipping has been handled with a great attitude. Their website could use some additional tweaking to make it highly effective, but it's still very useful. I can tell from my multiple interactions with them, that they are honest in their representations and they DON'T try to unrealistically "hype" things to make them seem better than they actually are (something that some other auction companies do). I look forward to bidding in many more of Alderfer's future auctions and will do so with great confidence in this group of fine people. Some of the especially helpful people are Pam, Cathy, Jill and a few others who's names escape me at the moment.

This was a new process for me, but after answering some basic questions and providing several photographs, Classic Gray was able to provide the necessary report substantiating the claim. I highly recommend Classic Gray and am very grateful with their help settling my claim.

They cleaned the watch as best they could without causing damage to this $3500 watch. I also had my Cartier Tank watch inspected and cleaned. I trusted them with my $15k Cartier. I didn't put a price tag on the repairs since when working on precision time pieces you don't bring them to a mall kiosk

I needed the watch done by Friday, so I went right over. The store wasn't very busy when I walked in around 11am on a Tuesday, but they got more busy as I was there. Someone immediately went to retrieve Jim, who seems to be the resident watch repair expert. I shared with Jim a little background about how I inherited the watch, what I needed done, and why I needed it done. He immediately started working on it. After about 15-20 minutes it had a new battery and the right amount of links added to get it to fit my wrist. When I asked where I could pay, Jim told me it was on the house. I was not expecting that at all, but it was obviously greatly appreciated. I guess that's the kind of personal touch and service you get from a family run business who view you as a neighbor and not just a customer. I don't have a lot of jewelry needs in my life, but I know where I'll be going the next time I do. Thanks Jim and thanks Koehler's Jewelers!
