Came by here today for the first time to check out the store and the minnow pop-up for their latest resort collection. Staff were friendly and parking in the lot requires validation for 1 hour free. Nice subdued color palette for the clothes here. read more

Scammer alert! I pointed to clothing when I was in the store and asked whether the store sold gift cards which could be applied to clothes. I was given an unambiguous yes, and purchased two gift cards. Later, the cashier revealed to the recipient of the gift cards that most of the clothing displayed in the space was *not* eligible for gift cards, as it is part of a separate shop within the same physical store. There is no signage to this affect, and I clearly had never been in before and did not have this context, so asked politely to return the gift cards given this obvious misunderstanding, and the shopkeeper was incredibly snide, rude, and unprofessional while refusing to do so. It would have been easy to confirm the store's unique nature at the point of sale, but the shopkeeper is clearly happy to make a buck taking advantage of customers. Your time and money is better spent somewhere that isn't run by opportunistic grifters. Plenty of great options on the same street! read more

The store got 2 stars because there are many interesting and beautiful things for sale. Unfortunately I had the most condescending experience with the petite dark haired man working there. I was drawn into the store because they have gorgeous hats. I asked to try one on and the man working there asked me for my hat size. I had no idea and I'm sure I'm not alone here. He condescendingly responded "So you have never tried a hat on before." I brushed it off but as he continued to 'help' me with the hats it felt more like he didn't want me to touch the precious hat let alone actually buy one. Needless to say I left empty handed and joking with my friend about his explicit rudeness. If you go into this store be prepared for a pretentious and condescending retail experience. read more

I don't understand the negative reviews for this fabulous little store. I have purchased numerous times since it has opened and have always received amazing customer service. I'm recognized and acknowledged each time I go in by all of their staff. They are all very welcoming and engaging! The store is wonderfully curated and feels fresh each time I go in. Although this store have nice things, I will NEVER spend a penny here because of the older white lady who looked my husband and I up and down for at least a good minute when we walked in. I even stood there and looked at her as she was looking us up and down and it didn't phase her to stop. She definitely made me feel out of place and unwanted in the store. It's unfortunate that I have to step into this store to get to Warby Parker and will have to cross path with her again. read more

I just walked out of this store experiencing the most offensive non existent customer service ever. I was out by myself doing some retail therapy and stumbled into this store. It has some nicely curated items but when I walked in, the white old lady with the short hair looked at me in my eye and didn't even acknowledge me. Okay, whatever. But then when I wanted to purchase a few items, I was literally in front of her face saying excuse me a few times and she completely ignored me. I ended up walking out. News flash lady, you work retail. It's not like Lido Marina Village gets that busy and the stuff you sell can't be purchased elsewhere. Why have a retail space if you don't want to sell? read more

I've been through the DTLA store a few times, and like the flagship, this one also doesn't disappoint. It's a great store to walk through and admire, especially since it has the picture-perfect (read: Instagram-friendly) grid showcase display, which I love. If you're looking to buy something, you'll soon find that they have a wide and enticing array of items. They do have some pricier items, but if you spend some time to really look at what they're offering, you'll also find that there are some nice things that are friendlier on your budget. They have the 'classic LA offerings' like the ubiquitous Apolis bags and Clare V clutches but they also have a nicely curated selection of clothing and home goods, such as candles, frames, photographs, and ceramics. Customer service was pleasant and feel free to ask any questions about the space. Again, like the LA flagship, they also have a neighboring Warby Parker store, which I think is super handy. Because what's a hipster to do without some WP lenses? read more

Rudest experience in this store. This was the 5th time I've come into this store. The older woman with short blonde hair is so incredibly rude! I came in with my mother in law who wanted to purchase a swimsuit and she just stood behind the counter and didn't even greet us. Whoever owns this company please retrain this rude woman or remove her completely. read more
