If you are going for your post-master's cert for your Psych NP (PMC-PMHNP) and have to redo…read moreAdvanced Patho, Advanced Health Assessment, and Advanced Pharm, I do NOT recommend going here. I was enrolled earlier this year and dropped after completing the three pre-reqs and another course that was supposed to be a a prep course for post-graduation. Why did I drop? Because I was misled, disappointed, and utterly discouraged after taking the APEA 3P exam. We were the first cohort to have to take the APEA 3P exam which was not known to anyone until three weeks prior to the start of our next course (via email that we were signed up and had three weeks to complete as well as a brief description in the syllabus). If you aren't familiar with what the 3P exam is, it basically is a comprehensive exam that goes over Advanced Patho, Advanced Health Assessment, and Advanced Pharm. I believe it was 75 questions for 90minutes and we were all scheduled to take the exam during the 3rd week of our classes. Which YOU the student pay for at a discounted rate of about $60 doll hairs. Now let's get to the nitty gritty here, the courses are accelerated - 7 weeks of classwork, one week break in between, but they give you early access to the next course because it's all busywork without actually teaching you. Yes, normal for online schools for it to be all self-taught. Not a problem for me. My problem was why would they schedule a high stakes exam in the middle of the busiest week... well at least for anyone who was taking two classes at the same time... I'm not crying, you're crying. They FAILED to prepare us for this exam nor thought it was necessary to let us students know ahead of time that this exam was in the works. Michelle Heriford the director of the NP programs literally told me "We don't necessarily inform students we are updating courses as this is part of the academic process" - yes there is truth to this, but a high stakes exam like this?! I do not blame the idea behind why this exam can be helpful to determine where we as students stand in our knowledge. I blame the people involved for setting us up for failure. Initially, the syllabus stated that if we did not get a passing score on any of the 3Ps, we would have to audit those courses. Well, as it was, I did not get a passing score in any of the 3Ps which meant I would have to audit all three courses. But, wait, it gets better... I passed all of my courses with over 90% in all four classes. NBD at all, it's not like I tried or anything. Also goes to show how EASY these classes were and actually were not set up to help us pass the 3P exam. The best part is when I was doing my research on this exam, they had a whole guidebook for faculty who were going to implement this exam to help students feel prepared for this exam. This guidebook was incredibly easy to find, btw. TWO of the biggest and most important parts that should have been implemented: 1. Implementation of the 3P's in the coursework to better prepare students for the exam. 2. Have students take the 3P exam AFTER all three courses were completed. Needless to say, NONE of these things were done to better prepare their students for success. Nor were the staff prepared for what was going to hit them... 1. Tech issues occurred so not all students took the exam at the same time (I don't know timelines, but I would have to guess 1-3 weeks after some of us who had no issues) Hello, more study time for them, very cool. 2. After those of us who had taken the exam within the scheduled time frame, it was crickets for us from faculty. Anxiety, skyrocketed. Then we finally received communication that they were still waiting for all students to finish the exam due to IT issues after multiple students started bombarding their emails. 3. Heard nada until the very last day of our class (four weeks later...) WITHOUT any idea of what remediation would look like. But also because the faculty couldn't access our scores from the APEA to even know how everyone did. LOL. 4. Here is the BEST part. A majority of the students must have failed because they decided to have zero students audit any of the courses. SWEET! 5. On the last day, some of us heard back about what remediation was going to look like - extra reading materials and I believe CEUs that had to be signed off by faculty. Initially, it had to be completed before we could move onto our clinicals then changed their mind to let us do it during all of the courses/clinicals. See attached image for the rest cause I capped out on characters (:

Being a person who…read morewas active in student engagement wether it was working in Studio Angelico or being the President of the environmental student organization on campus I saw a lot of things higher management did not openly express but definitely didn't hide. This made a lasting impact on how I view this school. There is little to no care for a lot of the departments on campus when it comes to support, unless it's sports or music. I saw how each student was viewed as a paycheck only and not given support when really needing it - EVEN with the services they offered it was minimal at best. I wish this school was something I could be proud of but as I've heard since graduating in 2020, it has gone horribly downhill.

After going through the Organizational Leadership program I graduated in May 2015! I did go to the local branch in Southfield or the Metro Detroit Branch out of convenience. When I went to the main campus for the Commencement I was really impressed with the major upgrades to the facilities since I was last on campus. I absolutely loved it. The first six classes in the program were blended, which is alternating in class and on-line every other week. I'm old school, I like the professor contact and interactions. The final six were on-line. The professors are fantastic. They have your best interest in mind for all of the classes. This was a fun and rewarding experience and now I'm am more valuable to my company. I'm a Saint!!!!

I grew up in Michigan but had never visited the Adrian area or knew anything specific about the college other than it was one of a bunch of small Michigan colleges with D3 athletics. We came across the school through an athletic recruiting service. Luckily we already had a trip planned to Michigan and decided to check it out since they were starting up a varsity men's volleyball program. We visited in September and were absolutely blown away by the academic and athletic resources at this institution. I went to MSU, so by comparison this is a very tiny school, but they have been investing tens of millions over the past decade. My understanding is that their president, Dr. Jeffrey Docking, was hired 10 years ago with a comprehensive plan to transform the school from surviving to thriving. It is obvious that his plan has succeeded. They continue to invest heavily in the student experience. After visiting our son knew this was the place for him. Other schools came knocking but he knew they couldn't beat what Adrian has to offer. Our experience with the coach, admissions office, financial aid, and education department have all been stellar. We would recommend any student-athlete check out Adrian College!

One thing that stands out is the way their student enrollment has grown from year to year. I think this really speaks to the quality of their programs and campus life! Not to mention, they have adjusted so well by adding new housing facilities. My experience on the campus of Trine University has been limited to Hoosier Girls State, which is a week long camp that is hosted here each year in the month of June. It is a great program, and Trine does a great job in facilitating it and giving it a place to call home! The Trine personnel, from coordinators and dining staff to residence hall maintainers, are so welcoming and willing to bend over backward for their guests. Another thing that stands out about this university is how generous they are when it comes to hosting programs, such as Hoosier Girls State for high schoolers across the state. Each year, the university offers a scholarship to each Hoosier Girls State delegate to apply to their college tuition if they choose to attend Trine University. This is unique and an outstanding gesture of this great university! I am confident life as a student at Trine University is as great as the experience I have had as a former delegate and counselor at Hoosier Girls State. I imagine it is a great place to prepare for ones future!
