She was like a magician when you throw 700-800 level maths problems at her. No matter how difficult a problem was, she was always able to find a few ways to solve it with ease. Sylvan has helped with many things throughout these months I have been with them. Grammar was a big thing I needed help with and with them my grammer has risen faster than when I was in eighth grade. With adjectives, nouns and verbs are key to grammar skills and they have helped with that tremindly. They have helped me with ron-ons and fragments because these guys involve many things that can make or break a story. Finally, they helped me with synonyms and antonyms. Before I would use words that are the same words over and over again. Taking my time is a huge thing they have helped me with over these months. I used to rush on my writings and I knew that was bad but I did feel like taking the time. At Sylvan before I even write I have to create an outline and prepare for the writing. They have me spend weeks on end writing this paper to perfect my story, unlike school where I get a week if I am lucky. During this phase as well I have many stages and revisions from teachers before I get close to the final printing. Sylvan has helped me with confidence with writing. With the advances in grammar I am more confidence that I am doing these things right. They have built my confidence that been fast is not important and you don't have to be first.
