Food is close to worse in Yuma. The fried chicken tastes like it's been cooked in old oil and has a very chemical taste to it. Every else has been sitting so long under heat lamps they're completely dried out when they are sold. read more

We came to get sausage from the meat section. The butcher was so nice and immediately attended us. He got us our sausage and was friendly. Also the young guy putting all the carts was working hard and assisting the elderly. Didn't catch his name but he had tattoos on his left arm and longish brown hair. Albertsons, and at least this location in particular, is not my go-to place to grocery shop. I don't live super close and really only stop in here when I am already in the area. However, I have shopped here a few times now. Each time I've been pleased with how clean the store is! It's well organized, tidy, and the layout of the store makes shopping easy. The employees are also all very nice! I did notice that the prices seem a tad bit higher here for the exact same things that I typically buy at Fry's. And overall the store does not have as much to offer and is just smaller. But these are certainly not deal breakers for shopping here, especially for those that use store coupons or the rewards card (which I never think to do). read more

Shame on you guys!! You guys are opening earlier for seniors. Good for that. But my grandpa went last week to get toilet paper and he said he got 2 packs for $32. Went back to confront store and manager said he needs the receipt they are charging $7.99 for it. My grandpa went again today and for 2 packs with 9 rolls in it he was charged $18 for each pack. That's absolutely insane. The seniors are on a fixed income. How dare you!! So he went back in and showed the manager and the manager said that's what their supplier is charging them. Who cares!! Here in CA price gouging isn't happening because it's illegal. Stores aren't raising their prices in CA. I found out price gouging is not illegal in Arizona but shame on you guys for doing this. Don't price gouge the seniors on a fixed income. You wanna over charge do that to the regular people not on a fixed income. I'll no longer ever shop at a Albertsons . read more

After the game of CS:GO they unfriended me online, I was left alone in the gaming world and to mend my wounds I walked to Albertsons to get a cake for myself in celebration of my solo victory. I walked into the store and turned to my left, I came across a fine gentlemen named Martin who tipped his hat towards me in comfort. "M'customer", he had said but smothered in depressed I walked ahead with no response nor action returned. I went to the bakery where I met this fine woman by the name of Darlene. "Did you need any help?" We locked eyes and in her eyes I saw my men, my keen, my brethrens. I had lost it. After minutes of crying I looked up and saw her still there. She had asked if I was okay from which I responded "Yes m'lady, yes." I asked her what kind of cake would best fit a tribute to my men, the loss of their lives, the blood they had lost to protect me to where she recommended the red velvet cake. It was a beautiful choice. She brought out the cake and began to get the box but I said "No, we won't be needing that today." I placed the cake on the floor, dropped my trousers and sat on the cake. The cool sensation of the frosting between my cheeks provided a sense of relief; like the weight of the world severing off my shoulders. I requested a box and invited her back to my place to share what was left of the cake, which she kindly declined. We have been shopping here for almost 4 years. Cannot say enough about the friendly service. We drive past two large competitors on the way to the store and sometimes pay marginally more depending on the product but the service is worth a few extra pennies. They also have an excellent meat department with top quality product that provides the same great service. read more

I shop at this Albertsons when I'm too lazy to go to a bigger, and cheaper, store or when I just need one item but I don't use this store for my main grocery shopping. They are a bit expensive. I always buy Nature's Own wholegrain bread and Albertsons wants close to $4.00 for a loaf where a "bigger" store sells it under $3.00 bucks. I used to buy London broil beef all the time and I knew about what the average price per pound was and once they had a sale "buy one get free" but the price per pound was jacked much higher than what the price had been and I refused to be a hostage. I don't like dirty tricks like this. I know I'm not the only one who has noticed this either as a friend and I were talking and she had mentioned the very same thing. I wanted to like this store since Fry's is so busy, I bought 2 lobster tails last year when I was here, got them home and they were bad bad bad. I told the store clerk and he looked at me like he hadn't heard me...veggies looked good but everything else looked tired. But overall, ick. No bag recycling? read more

I have never been in an Albertsons that looked in such disrepair. It didn't seem that well maintained or well stocked. My son wanted to sit in the children's cart. It was dirty, and broken. It had jagged plastic edges that could have cut him had I let him ride in it. The prices were more expensive than Fry's. The employees were very polite, and it was easy to find a parking space. I will probably never shop here again though. read more

This locale is kind of rundown. But the staff is super friendly. It's in such a great location. It's not dirty it's just doesn't have that new feel that a lot of stores have. They have a bakery the vegetables always seem very fresh. I did hear from one of the employees that they're going to start expanding in a couple months and therefore though get a facelift on the whole store. Yeah hey! read more

Terrible store. Always has a spoiled milk odor. The store manager is The Worst Manager I have ever come in contact with. He really has a chip on his shoulder. He does not care about customer service. The employees don't seem happy to be there. I wouldn't blame them. If I had to work for such a jerk of a store manager, I wouldn't be happy either. I hope corporate takes a hard look at Randy Dawson the store manager because he is not doing them any favors by the way he acts and portrays himself in the store and around town. As long as he is with the Yuma Albertsons I will not be shopping at with them and will tell as many people as I can about the terrible experience I have had with this man. read more

One star for this store. Just shopped there, and went to buy some potato chips, and all the bags had been deliberately crushed, so they could get more bags on the shelf. Bags had been absolutely flattened, and each row was over-filled. Pick up a bag, and it obviously had only crumbs in it. No potato chips, only potato chip crumbs for sale at this store. Fry's does this all the time, but first time I have seen it done at an Albertson's. Why do stores think it is ok to deliberately damage merchandise, then sell it, just because it is convenient for them (restock less often). That kind of thing says a lot about what they think of their customers. Makes you wonder what else they are selling that is damaged or defective or spoiled. read more

This is an older model Albertson's. I understand why other reviewers rate it lowly but its not that bad. It isn't as large as newer stores and its produce section is certainly small. But overall if you are on that side of town its a good place to stop. It definitely has all the staples and most of the downside is really just that the building doesn't look that nice. read more
