Roy in produce helped me pick out the sweetest strawberries today ! Thank you Roy ! The strawberries were really good

Asked if they were burnt was told no.

Took a while to get recognized by the deli staff. I was the only one there at 6:30 pm. Asked the server if the food was burnt was told not. Took a picture just in case I was overreacting. Not a busy place considering the time I was here.

    Oreo Coke & Coke Oreos??!!?

I've always been a fan this grocery store. They have a large produce section with a local and organically grown area. They also have a ready-made food counter serving finger-licking fried chicken and other main dishes, tons of sides, and a great bakery. I love their brand packaged chocolate chips cookies. Always soft and delicious! They also display the new items by the registers. This weeks is Coca-Cola Oreos, and Oreo Coke. Mind blown! Plus you can usually save $1 on many items with their rewards program. I just did on a dozen organic eggs. Love it! Love it all!

Come on man why are you guys rating this great supermarket so low, it's almost the only one left standing, I remember when I 1st moved to California there were like 8 chains now they all merged n there are now just 2 I think Stater brothers n Kroger which had just bought Vons, Ralph's, Safeway n Lucky etc.. I'm like a tourist here, we eat out almost every night so I rarely shop, I marveled at how beautiful n clean the store was, the Asian stores are just competing on prices, they don't care too much about esthetics. I bought ground beef at Green supermarket to make spaghetti $3 a lb!! $6 at Albertsons! But Green didn't have meatballs so I had to come here. Albertsons also has all kinds of chipotle n Melinda salsa made in Costa Rica. I 1st had Melinda in Costa Rica n loved it, well nobody else had them except right here. Meats are really expensive here, people can't afford groceries anymore but blame the skyrocketing inflation on Brandon not Albertsons! I buy the roast chicken here too, it tastes better than the joke they have at Costco. They deserve 4 stars, I missed the good old days when they used to have a party like atmosphere bbq in front of the store every 4th of July, the best BBQ ever all kinds of meats, support your local supermarket or they will all die n you'd have to get ripped off at Amazon which to me was not a pleasant experience.

Horrible. I am finished shopping here and will shop at Smart & Final or Stater Bros. Meat was $15 a pound, green beans were wilted, asparagus was brown, no hamburger buns and self check

    Fresh produce always

The store itself is smaller if you compare it with places like Shun Fat Westminster Superstore or Hòa Bình supermarket. There is only one checkout counter and the staff all seem to be Vietnamese. After walking around, they pretty much have all the basics covered. The focus is Vietnamese and Southeast Asian ingredients and sauces. They have their own seafood and meat counter with number tags where you can ask them to clean or cut fish, plus a small deli to go section. I also noticed their delivery vehicle outside that says wholesale, so it seems like they also supply restaurants in the area. Overall it feels like a neighborhood market that also does some wholesale business. The fresh section looked clean and there was no strong smell. I happened to see ground pork on sale for $2.49 per pound. The regular price was $2.79. Of course I had just paid $3.99 per pound earlier that day at 99 Ranch in Irvine because I wanted convenience. While we were there, a Vietnamese lady next to us was buying a big pile of meat and seafood and chatting with us while waiting for it to be cut. She said she always shops here. She ended up buying the last of the ground pork in the display. We asked if there was any left and the butcher said he had more in the back, so we immediately decided to grab two pounds. I think this place is perfect if you do not want to push a cart around a huge store and just need to pick up a few items quickly. They are open until 8pm. Next time I have more time I will come back and explore a bit more to see what other interesting things they carry. So if you need charge and also get groceries, this is where you'd wanna go. Selection wise everything is pretty fresh. They also have a lot of prepared Vietnamese foods as well which is nice. Lighting seems a lot brighter here compared to the other place. I think the vegetables can be a little bit more expensive compared to some other places, but if you don't want to go all the way up to Garden Grove or Westminster, this is a nice alternative.

I also enjoy looking at their clearance section for good deals. One time, they were selling Momofukuku noodles for 99 cents! What a steal! The market is never too busy, which is what I prefer when I go shopping. I enjoy shopping here, since it's peaceful. They play some nice music, while you shop. Also, this market has a lot of samples, so try it all to your heart's content! I never had a problem shopping here. Workers are friendly, and go above and beyond. They always ask me if I found everything ok, or if I need help with anything. One time, I had to do a return on a ripped bag of flour. Whew, it was easily done, and I got my new bag of flour! This was around 6 PM, the store wasn't busy, and multiple pans in the case were completely empty. It felt like pure laziness rather than a lack of product. Empty pans mean lost sales--definitely expected better customer service.

My German husband was ecstatic when Aldi opened in OC, they have 2 stores, in FV and in GG. When it 1st opened there was a section w a lot of German wursts, strudel and some frozen food directly from Germany and at a discount from Traders Joe. Aldi now advertises daily on Foxnews, it is well known and is flourishing but unfortunately the German section is gone, occasionally they would have spaetle , strudel but we don't see any wurst, my husband has to go to Old World village for all the German cold cuts. It is true everything is cheaper at Aldi, the eggs were insanely cheap, $1.29 to $1.39 per carton. Bananas we buy weekly, I have 3 banana trees but mine are the VN varieties I used to love but now I give most to my neighbors, I prefer the Chiquita Bananas. Ice cream Ben and jerry and Hagen Daz were always on sale. I recently bought a pair of real leather sheepskin slippers for $14.95 , I really don't know how they can sell everything so cheap. They also stock table cloths, plastic ones you can clean them, I have so many beautiful table cloths but who has time to wash them? they used to sell them in Bed, bath and beyond but they are nowhere to be found after BBB went out of business. To be clear, they don't have everything like in a normal supermarket but what they have nobody can sell cheaper, their produce dept was always well stocked and fresh w an amazing discount. As always, Sam the cashier was great -- he consistently provides amazing customer service and is one of the reasons I enjoy coming here. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for upper management.
