The breakfast burritos are great! That's what I primarily go to this location for. As for the "Express" part, there's something left to be desired. Morning customers don't just come in for burritos and leave, as you'd think they would. There seems to be a culture established that customers come in to ask for many off-the-wall requests, other than breakfast burritos (before 9:30 in the morning), and the staff honors each and every one of those requests. I think it's to the detriment of the burrito business. There have been at least a few times when I've had to leave, due to being in the middle of a big line, and 5 or more minutes are taken with multiple customers in front of me. In the morning people are usually in a bit of a hurry. It seems like most people who go there in the morning want to get in and out with breakfast burritos! If the staff were to establish behaviors conducive to that with all customers in the morning, I think it would be a lot smoother, and actually be the "Express" that the name suggests. If that happens I will absolutely change my rating to 5 stars! read more

Food is great I normally come here for lunch, and pick up a breakfast burrito. but recently have stopped going to this express due to dealing with a really rude employee. Also calling here on the to phone ahead is a complete joke. When calling employees answer the phone snapping at you and are in the middle of helping someone else with an order in-person, sometimes they even forget they have someone on the phone trying to call ahead too make an order. *I'd rather go to Cisneros, the Albertos on 26th ave, than get treated the way I do at 5415 11th st. read more

best breakfast burritos you will ever have. only place in town i know that has something spicy and its actually spicy. taste various per time of year and what day you come. wed and Friday are the best. port and steak breakfast burritos. We live in Greeley and this place is probably the restaurant that my family orders from the most. The staff is absolutely wonderful both on the phone and in person. The food is consistently great and we always know that we will get good service and good food every time we eat here/order from here. Customer service here cannot be beat and try the green chili. Alberto's Express has disappointed me for the third time. (Three strikes, you're out!). I'm not sure if the owners are new, or the person who makes the food is new or both. At one time, Alberto's was actually decent food. But recently the food has gone downhill. The beans are always undercooked and taste as if they mix canned beans with undercooked beans. The rice had a mixed texture of soft and hard. I ordered the Carnitas plate. What I received were pieces of hard chewy bite size pork. Carnitas are made with pork shoulder by braising it in oil (or lard) slowly until tender. Carnitas should closely resemble pulled pork not cut up pork chops. The green chile was was watery and a bit salty. The flavor of the chile was lost somewhere in the salty watery liquid. Alberto's Express obviously takes shortcuts with food preparation and it really shows in the flavor and quality of the food. If you want good authentic Mexican food, drive the extra 5-10 minutes east and look for something else.... two stars only because the staff is friendly but you can't taste friendly. read more

The food was good. The place looks disorganized and dirty. I don't think wearing pajamas is very professional!!! Please clean up ,organize and wear Pollo shirts and black pants and you might have more business. The floor was so greasy I almost fell down. read more

Owners are not very nice at all. Horrible feeling every time we go in there. If it wasn't for the special on Sat., we wouldn't be going in. Also, if you want to get just a dinky little bit of there green chili to put on your taco, it's 2.00!!! Yikes!!! If I could've, I would be giving them 0 stars. My family and I have been going to this place for years. I go and get breakfast burritos for my work from this place also, until today. I went in to make a burrito run for work. The lady was rude from the beginning and treated me like a just a cow being shoved through a shoot. On top of that experience I was charged 96.00 for 7 burritos. I asked her about it because I was shocked and she rambled on about extra this and that so I let it go. My husband asked about the charge and I told him yeah I think I was over charged, but maybe I'm wrong. So I called the store back so I could talk to Someone about it, the guy who answered the phone was very nice and told me yes I believe you were over charge and he took my name and phone number down. He told me he was going to have the manager call me so I said thank you and hung up the phone. 10-15 mins later I receive a call from the lady that had already treated me horribly this morning, treating me the same way instantly, and instead of listening she just talked over the top of me yelling telling me I was wrong telling me to pay attention calling me hun like I was a child. This is not how you run a business if you want returning customers. It's sad to see that she was so willing to rip me off. I didn't want all my money back all I wanted was for her to make it right. read more

A lot of history of bad food inspections. Nasty and dirty, never see staff using gloves making food. I stay away now. Yuck . They changed locations and since the inspections are better. The old ones are offline for the previous location. Still, last time I was there I saw numerous violations of food handling prep. I walked out when the cook was making my made to order breakfast burrito, without gloves and after wiping his face with his hand. read more

Though their food isn't horrible, I would not recommend ordering delivery via OrderUp. Alberto's apparently has no idea how to package food to go. And if you are going to go out to eat, then I wouldn't waste your money here...there are much better places to get good Mexican food in Greeley. read more

They have awesome $1 tacos on Saturdays, if you can catch them open. I have found them closed 3 or 4 Saturdays out of the last several Saturdays. Kind of makes one angry to drive there and they are closed....I will call ahead and ask next time!! read more

The breakfast burritos at Alberto's Express in the 54th Ave. foodcourt are the best ever hands down. The other Alberto's is also good for breakfast burritos as well as for lunch and dinner. But the breakfast ones at the Express are worth a trip from anywhere around Greeley. It's too bad they don't have a drive-up window and more tenants in the building. read more

Hands down best Mexican restaurant anywhere, once you taste their green chili every other Mexican restaurant becomes Taco Bell style food.

Great food, but had to leave because the staff were loud, cussing and talking about inappropriate stuff within earshot of my 7 year old.

This place is dirty, the employees don't even know health codes... look like their last inspection didn't pass.

The food was alright. I had the burrito dinner, my husband the enchilada dinner - Mine was great, maybe a little soggier than if you ordered in store - the refried beans were a little... meh... But it all reheated great. Husband says he has no complaints, especially for the price - average $2 cheaper per entree than 3 Margs. I also ordered the Guac and chips and Deep fried Cheesecake with Cherries.. The guac was horrible. Not nearly garlicy enough, very bland and over priced, But the Cheesecake was good - though I would recommend you get to it ASAP - the outside tends to get a bit chewy and "meh" after a bit. The food maybe ok, but I have been there way to many times where the owners/managers are cursing and yelling at employees or are just talking that way, very unprofessional in my opinion. Also, the restaurant is very dirty and needs to be cleaned up, and I thought that people who served the food needed to wear gloves and hair nets, but not here. read more
