Please stay away, for your own sake. I have a history of traumatic brain injuries and saw Dr…read more Kleronomos after developing Long Covid. I had trouble finding specialists, and was glad to finally see someone with experience treating my conditions. At first glance, online, Dr. Kleronomos looks legit (of course, there are still plenty of red flags if you look closely). But at the time, I didn't see the negative reviews and I went into the appointment with high hopes. After describing in detail how this illness shattered my life, how it's worse than 5 concussions combined, he decided -- in the middle of the appointment -- to take off his mask. He was seated feet away from me and seemed puzzled when I asked him to put it back on. This was during the summer wave of 2022. Cases were extremely high, and masks were still required in all healthcare settings. Unfortunately, this was only the second most traumatic thing he did during the appointment. All I feel comfortable sharing publicly about the rest of what happened is that I'm still in therapy over what he did to me. I filed a complaint with the medical board because people like him should at least have to answer to somebody. Of course, like most medical institutions, the response was inadequate. Not exactly change makers at the medical board. However, they did issue a letter of concern for his medical file. And they don't do that for every case. Dr. Klerenomos' response to this review will be predictably dismissive and defensive. He'll hide behind the medical board decision, and pretend it was vindication. But he and I know what happened that day. And he'll have to live with the guilt of knowing that his story may change but the truth never does. Please, if you are sick and out of options, go anywhere but here. I'm saying something publicly because if it means one person is spared the trauma of him, I will rest easier. You may think you're at rock bottom. But I wish someone had warned me that seeing Dr. Kleronomos would be the worst day of my life.

I never feel that he is rushing with me so he can get to the next patient, and I always feel like he pays attention and listens to every detail of anything I have to tell him. They call themselves audiologists and ENT surgeons, but they are utterly TONE DEAF socially. Way too much West Hills high-altitude attitude here, if you know what I mean. And the staff does not give a HOOT. Sport to them. They do not seem happy. When I asked for my patient records, they said I needed to sign up on their patient portal to obtain my records-- THIS, they are telling me AFTER I am being terminated as a patient. And the rub is this: on this provider portal, there is an option for text/ email reminders. I NEVER KNEW ABOUT their portal. Why the FUDGE was I not shown this system after the first missed appointment!!!??? COMPLETE JOKE OF AN OPERATION... and the world is too nutty for another JOKER! Do others feel this way??? It was a technology issue but the company took no time to figure out what was broken.... I AM NOT A DOCTOR but that does not seem like good medicine. BAD medicine it seems. For reference, this was my message to them upon learning that I was terminated as a patient when needing urgent care... " Subject General Medical Q&A Dr. Maxwell Furr Patient ABCXYZ******* Message For the record: after four years of appointments, I have NEVER received a SINGLE piece of electronic communication in the way of reminders texts, emails or phone calls from PDXENT despite PDXENT having my cell number AND email. Geezus. Broken ****** system... take some responsibility, PDXENT. There was a technology/ security reason why I missed my appointment it turns out. I have many devices and calendars... there was a security lock on a key sharing calendar... I LOVE text-based reminders... or email, BUT PDXENT is THE ONLY provider I have that has NOT historically (say, in the past four years) provided me any reminder notification. My ear hurts, it is not exactly easy to find providers... It is not even that I think the PDXENT patient-termination policy is draconian (yes-- DRACONIAN), ...it is that PDXENT never took time to figure out the disconnect after the first "strike". When did electronic notification become available???? Why did we not deal with this on the first "strike"... My guess is that operations are broken, the staff is generally pissed and the owners are geared on Porsches. Blow. ...that sums it up for me. They can do just that.
