(Another contractor was supposed to start before we found Joe and completely ghosted us around the start date.) Lou was the main guy who was here several days and he was great. We felt totally comfortable with him in our home. Our 4 year old son kept asking where Lou was after the project was completed. Altho I did NOT get a recommendation for Joe via FB, I got one straight from a client's mouth. Walking the dog around the neighborhood I came upon a fresh concrete sidewalk and steps that looked very nice! I took note of the sign posted at the worksite, Joe Libertini Concrete and gave him a call. He stopped out the very next morning and gave me a quote on the spot, whereas the other 2 recommended contractors took roughly a week to get a quote to me. I spoke with my neighbor who raved about Joe's work. So...I went with Joe, not only because he beat them on price, but he was also quoting 6" of concrete rather than 4. Additionally, he is the only person whose work I saw for myself. I was very pleased with Joe's work. He is a one man operation renting anything he needs so he can do the work himself. I was very impressed watching him work in the summer heat, and moreso with the work he did. My patio looks fantastic, and with the wire and rebar supporting a 6 inch pad, I should be good for decades to come! Need some concrete? French drain? New sidewalk or patio? I reached out to Bander after speaking to another contractor that took weeks to get back to me…read moreevery time I tried to communicate with him. His quote was also much higher than what Bander offered and in my opinion he wanted to do a lot of unnecessary work for my situation. The issue I had was mortar erosion between bricks on a home I just purchased recently. When I called Bander my call was answered immediately and all communication thereafter was timely. When I first called, I spoke to Mike who got me scheduled for an estimate. Mike was able to come to my property quickly and was on time. Mike was very professional and took time to go over the work needing to be done. The price he quoted me was very fair and I put down the required deposit and told him to go ahead and put me on the schedule. I was told that it would be a few weeks before they could come do the work which was fine. I was actually scheduled much sooner than I thought I would be. The work done went above and beyond anything I was expecting. Since we had agreed to only fix the problem areas lacking mortar between bricks I thought only the really bad spots would be fixed. That said, everything that even looked like it needed work was tended to and the job was so good that all the repairs they did blend in very well with what was already there. The work done was very meticulous and attention was given to every detail. Once the work was completed great care was taken to clean up the area as well. Overall I am extremely happy with the work done by Bander and will definitely contact them in the future for more work when the time comes.
