They say they deliver firewood right to your campsite except when we asked, they did not have any firewood but we could grab some from last years scraps. The bathrooms have not been updated ever. There is a trickle of water in the showers, not enough to rinse shampoo out. The seasonal people all mow their own lots so there is a lawn mower constantly running. There are golf carts driving around in circles all day and night. There was a dirt bike at night racing without lights down the road. Saturday night was Karaoke night with speakers blasting until 11 PM, in addition to people playing very loud music at their campsites. Everyone is drunk during all waking hours. They said there was wifi but there is not. If you want a campground that is absolute chaos, this is the place for you.

Reasonably priced, Very clean, very quiet and nicely landscaped. Met Kurt, son of the owner- what a super friendly guy. There is a nice walking path around the lake. Her emotional intelligence and leadership style are evident throughout the hotel, and it shows in the atmosphere the moment you walk in. The property is well-managed, organized, and operates with a strong sense of teamwork and positivity. Amy's ability to positively influence the people around her creates an enjoyable experience for guests while also fostering what appears to be a supportive workplace culture for employees. It is refreshing to see leadership that genuinely cares about people and service quality. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area.

The pool looked nice though I didn't have time for a dip. The AC was powerful and the room was decorated with black out blinds that were printed with a canoe - functional and very Minnesota! Breakfast was a bit cramped in the front lobby in the morning and the elevator was a bit outdated but beyond that I had a great stay! If you are stopping here I also recommend getting off a few exits west and driving through town. We did not eat at the breakfast bar, so no opinion. We had a King room. There were bedside outlets with USB ports. The 28"ish bed was higher than I prefer. Suggestion for big name chain motels is to have some non-ADA senior adult rooms where the bathrooms are outfitted with tall toilets and grab bars in the showers, be they tub or walk-in. When I arrived the rooms were ready for me with the AC running to cool down the rooms. The place was a little off the highway, but worth the drive. It had a cottage appearance and didn't have any creepy people or cars sitting around. The room was a little dated with old looking decor, but that was really my only con. The room was super clean! There wasn't dust on anything! The baseboards were spotless, the fake plants didn't have dust, the beds were pretty comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. One improvement I suggest would to start placing the wifi password in the rooms or make sure it's given to customer at checkin. I forgot to ask for it and did without since it was so late . I would suggest this place and stay again.

Our order was taken quickly, and came out in a reasonable amount of time. There was a large funeral across the street and apparently the attendees gathered here afterwards because it was pretty busy for a Saturday afternoon. But it was still not too crazy and we were able to have a conversation at a reasonable volume. Lots of TVS playing sports. Some reviews referred to it as a nightclub which seems a stretch. At least in the afternoon it was family friendly.. The espresso martinis were strong and all alcohol. But what I'm used to and not my favorite but we definitely got a nice buzz! The cheese curds were average; the pizza fries were an interesting concept. It would have been nice if the cheese had been melted more. The pepperoni was somewhat spicy. The fries were really good! I truly enjoyed the quinoa bowl. The pork belly was crispy and crunchy and just delectable. It worked well with the quinoa and vegetables. I'd happily eat this regularly. Prices are average. Especially for a hotel, one might even consider them reasonable. It's a good option if you don't want to leave the hotel.
