This older lady was a bit confused on where to exit and instead of him saying "please exit over here" he just pointed and assumed she knew what he meant. I think it was like 90% payout. When my wife questioned James about how someone else had checked in under our reservation and the fact that he wasn't even offering any type of apology he shook my credit card at her and said "ma'am, I can still refuse your service". I was absolutely appalled. More issues at checkout when they claimed my card was declined for the pet fee and I had to go back after checkout to swipe the same card I gave them and it somehow went through just fine. Terrible experience. Terrible customer service. Awful reservation experience. I would give zero stars if I could.

The accommodations are everything you can expect from a Carlson owner property - well maintained, clean and conveniently located. What sets this property apart from others is their exemplary customer service. The staff have gone above and beyond to make sure my 80+ year old parents have been comfortable and well taken care of. Even finding them transportation to the clinic on a day when their car would not start and it was a million degrees below zero. Because of Covid, the usual breakfast is the lobby is no longer available. Instead, a menu offering a different hot option daily is slipped under your door in the morning. After placing the order with front desk breakfast is promptly delivered to each room. Thank you for adjusting your system to meet these challenging times. If you are stopping here I also recommend getting off a few exits west and driving through town.
