We found the parking space slightly tight and difficult to park. But overall we had a great stay. Very child friendly but if you're worried about noise, don't be. our room was located away from all the noise so didn't bother us at all. And if you have kids then there's a lot to do! The spa looks amazing though we didn't get a chance to enjoy it due to lack of time. Last but not least, the welcome we got for our honeymoon and the effort they put was overwhelming. It's impressively quiet and scenic here with lake view rooms with terraces (highly recommend that upgrade). The service has been splendid all week as was the included breakfast. The staff has been accommodating and responsive each time we have called or stopped by. We checked out early in the morning, before breakfast started, and they still offered us coffee and food. The service is just above and beyond. Plus they have done a spectacular job capitalizing on the scenery with a relaxation garden with hammocks and lakeside "beach" area. My only complaint was rough access to wifi. It was slow and hard to send larger files like pictures. Otherwise I fully intend to come back someday and would plan to stay here.

The Albergo Milano is located right in the old town and up. It looks very romantic and complete with killer views from the balcony.

Upon arrival we were told that the men needed to be wearing jackets. I wish that our hotel had told us because my husband had packed one, but luckily the restaurant keeps spare jackets on site for just this situation. When they brought out the wine list I thought it was a joke because it was the size of a dictionary! For dinner I had the beet tartare and the veal filet. The soy marinated tofu was a little bit of an odd flavor combined the beet dish but besides that it was quite good. My husband started with the gnocchi and it may have been the best dish of the night, it was dynamite. In my opinion, my veal filet was better than my husbands beef filet and I also really enjoyed the petite eggplant parmigiana that came with it. Soufflé and ice creams for dessert were a big hit, but I was especially pleased because I asked if they had some dark chocolates off menu and they brought me out a beautiful assortment that tasted as good as they looked. Great restaurant if you are looking for an elegant evening out on the town or an excuse to use the dinner jacket that you packed but thought you wouldn't need.
