Oh sweet sweet pasta and Aperol Spritz in mother flippin' Italy man, like that ish would taste good anywhere but on the shores of Lake Como? I mean. Can you even. No. No, I can't. I can't even, it's so perfect I may spontaneously combust with the sheer gastronomic and aesthetic thrill of it all.
Stumbled across this place while cruising around a particularly picturesque shoreline at Lenno, we'd not long gotten off the ferry and the sun was shining and we were kinda peckish. This restaurant is big, and serene in that shade-dappled, lake-view kind of way that makes you want to put on a white hat and undo the top three buttons of your shirt. We got the menu del dia and spread ourselves out on the patio - the pizzas were great, the pasta was great, the tuna salad was double great, the fresh bread with olive oil and vinegar was great, and the Aperol Spritzes were damn fine thanks mister.
Do yourself a flava flav and look at the photos I took of this place, they'll tell you everything you need to know and plenty you didn't. You'll be an instant Italophile. read more
