Ground-in greasy stains everywhere, black dirt trails in the high traffic lanes, and some dog tinkle in a few small places. Some other company had allegedly worked on it beforehand, but it didn't look like they had made any difference. We chose Chem-Dry because we liked their natural/nontoxic soaps, and also because they don't flood the carpet with gallons of water. It's berber, so we wanted to keep the water to minimum. Everyone we spoke with at Chem-Dry was super nice. They arrived on time the next morning. They were friendly, organized, and professional. It was a fun, comfortable afternoon with some great guys who truly seemed to care. They stayed for a long time until they got it perfect. Our carpet was dry by next morning, and the stains did not return. Here we were thinking the carpet had to be trashed, but Chem-Dry literally saved it, good as new. It was absolutely worth every dollar.

Jessie is AMAZING! Preparing to leave to drive home I found…read morethat my sway bar link was gone on my driver's side. I had a five hour drive home and had to be at work the next evening. This is on a Thursday. Every shop I called said maybe Saturday or next week. I was panicking! I called Jessie and he kindly agreed to come out after his last job. He arrived around 8 p.m. I had already had my friends take me to get the necessary part. So I thought we were set. Upon removing my tire Jessie found that my wheel bearing hub was bad. He took the time to discuss with me what was wrong and that he recommended that it be replaced. He then agreed to keep working on removing the wheel hub while we ran to Auto Zone, which thankfully had the part in stock and is open late. He then replaced the part and had completed the other repair. It was then about 9:30. Then, despite the late hour and that he looked exhausted he took the time to talk to me about when I got home to make sure I checked the other tires for similar issues. That these things have a way of happening together. He was beyond professional and courteous. I then get the bill and am incredibly happy!! In my area shops usually charge $130 an hour. Jessie is incredibly reasonable. I got fantastic service by a qualified mechanic for a great rate! Plus, he saved the day and I was able to get home for work. I am beyond pleased! I only wished I lived in OBX and could use him for future repairs. Would highly recommend Jessie to anyone in the OBX area. He came same day and saved the day!!
