While I was watching the highlights of the Patriots and Broncos post-game show, these guys were out there absolutely crushing it. Before kick-off off the NFC Championship Game my entire driveway and the front walkway were completely clear. Super professional, incredibly fast, and they didn't leave those annoying chunks of snow at the end of the driveway that the city plows usually leave behind. If you're in the South Suburbs and need someone reliable snow removal at a gas fair price, call Mr.Thomas and his crew. 10/10 service!"

DO NOT USE DOBBELARE DISTRIBUTING !!!! BEWARE !!!!…read more Firstly, against my recommendation they did not stack in cord format - they cross stacked because they try to cheat you. I had to put my foot down and insist they bring me more wood to make up the difference. And even then it was still not the correct amount, but I just wanted them off my property by that point. Secondly, the wood does not burn because it is not aged or seasoned as they claim!! I am now forced to buy more wood from someone else and let Dobbelare's GARBAGE UNSEASONED WOOD age for another season. I e-mailed Scott Dobbelare to request that we discuss my complaints. No response, of course. BEWARE!

I called AKUI's for an evaluation/estimate as this was going to be a big project. We wanted the bricks to be realigned or replaced and new mulch put down. AKUI's first cleaned up the weed growth then went to work with the bricks, which were very difficult to remove and realign. I can recommend their services very highly! We (HOA) and our unit owners were very happy with the results. The manager I met, Curtis, is very personable, but more importantly he is excellent at what he does. He's very detail oriented and he took me through every step of the work process. The communication with this company is excellent and their prices are very competitive. They also finished the project in a timely manner. I highly recommend them for your landscaping projects and we (the HOA) will most likely call them back for maintenance.

Additionally, they constructed two 15-foot long stone masonry "knee" walls (approximately 3 feet tall) with taller columns. While this sounds straightforward, the work involved was significant; there were previous cement slabs to be removed, a trench of roots where old trees and a hedge shrub wall once lived, a tree to remove, drain tile to re-route, and electric work run underground to the columns for cap lights. The business owner (Dave) was patient and thoughtful in making several trips for the initial consultation with ideas, options, and advice - yet listened carefully and non-judgmentally to my own. This is a skill set in its own right as I don't know anything about landscaping, but he was able to listen to my words and translate them into landscaping language and appropriate options. Additionally as the work progressed and more ideas came to mind, Dave was able to discuss them. Lastly, when I asked that additional work beyond the scope of the initial plans be added on (such as removing and disposing of old chain link fencing) so that future work would be possible there were zero complaints and I wasn't price-gouged. His work crew is skilled and are truly "landscapers" - not lawn cutters (there's a difference). I learned that his foreman has been with the company for 25 years. This is a company where the employees are clearly invested in the business' success and vice versa. The employees know what they're doing and are much more than simple laborers. Dave has the gift of vision for what a property can look like despite its current (in my case terrible) state. He is enthusiastic yet also cost-conscious and does not up-sell you anything you don't need. In fact in my experience he was more likely to make suggestions to save money. At the onset of the work I was only asked for a down payment to cover the hold/purchase of a significant number of trees from the nursery. A Fresh Cut's employees were respectful of my property and the company is well-equipped for the work they do including skid steer, tractor, back hoe, and multiple heavy duty dumps. The employees worked hard at the grunt work that couldn't be performed by heavy machinery. Communication was constant and Dave remained patient and committed to the cause throughout. I was never under the impression that my job took a backseat to any other projects. I plan to use A Fresh Cut for future projects around my property, including patio and pond work.

We recently hired Santanas Landscaping to completely transform our backyard, and I can honestly say…read morethat Daniel and his team exceeded every expectation we had. Our backyard started as a rough, outdated space with an old shed that had become a major eyesore, a lawn overrun with weeds, and a large amount of old concrete that needed to be removed. One of the biggest challenges was that all of the demolition debris had to be taken out through a very tight access point, but the crew handled it efficiently without any issues. From start to finish, Daniel and his team were organized, professional, and incredibly hardworking. They removed the shed, demolished and hauled away all of the old concrete, cleared the overgrown lawn, and completely transformed the space. The quality of the materials they used was excellent. They built a beautiful stone patio exactly the way we envisioned it, installed an elegant pathway accented with Mexican river rock, and created two separate areas--one for our pool and another with fresh sod for a small lawn. The finished project turned what was once an unusable backyard into a peaceful retreat where our family loves spending time. What impressed me most was the pride they took in their work. Every detail was carefully completed, and the craftsmanship really shows. Their pricing was fair, and after seeing the final result, I can confidently say the project was worth every penny. If you're looking for a landscaping company that is reliable, professional, fairly priced, and delivers outstanding results, I highly recommend Santanas Landscaping.
