I will say.... it would be great if they (or ANY) urgent care would remain open past 7 or 8 pm. I remember back in the day places used to stay open until 10-11 pm. It doesn't exist anymore but I wish this place would be. On to the review... So I was experiencing some symptoms I had never had before and while trying to reach my primary care and other Drs for some assistance in what I was feeling and maybe how to handle, I was not able to get through nor get any return calls in a timely fashion. I went to another urgent care close by and they did not have the equipment available for what they were suggesting and recommended Guidewell. I was reluctant because it was way up the road, it was getting late in the afternoon, the traffic etc and still not getting any answers on how to diagnose and treat my symptoms. I took a chance, I called on the way and made an appointment. When I got there, the staff was very nice, they helped me get started with the check in process and the wait time was not that long, there were a few people ahead of me. Plus I had the appointment if there was a long wait. Once I was brought back, they triaged me, asked all the questions and immediately started with BP and the basic stuff, then they didn't just take blood but in case I needed fluids they put in an IV that would give them the option later rather than sticking me twice...luckily I didn't need fluids. They ran quite a few tests and in a very timely manner. When it was time for the doctor to come in, she listened, she was patient, she was very professional and cordial and very thorough going over my results and recommendations. I would definitely come here in the future...but beware the hours.

So we were referred to this one and the staff moved our appointment out 30 minutes and changed to this location for us. All staff is typically so patient and friendly which is why I love Guidewell and would recommend to anyone. Arrived at this location to be greeted by friendly staff. The clinic was super clean. We were taken back within 5 minutes. Nurses and Dr were also very friendly. They take the time to learn the issue and walk the patient thru care. I'll always recommend Guidewell!

The practice is easy to get a hold of and communicates well in-person, over the phone, and through their app. (‍ I swear I'm not using a chatbot but realized I may sound like one having just given three qualities in a row. ) The office is conveniently located off of Linebaugh on Wilsky, the latter of which streets puts you right on the Veterans Memorial Highway. Plenty of parking. A big convenience store is next door if you have a hankering for something before you head home. He always spends a lot of time talking through things with me, even when I feel like I'm the one who's in a rush to get the kids back to school. I also appreciate how good he seems about remembering children and their families. I feel like we are more than a chart to him. My younger son was bouncing all over the wall when we had our appointment, Dr. B did a great job redirecting his attention and making sure he did a thorough exam. I also find it very easy to get same-day sick appointments when needed. We may not always see Dr. B when we need one immediately, but I found all of the staff there is fantastic. They actually never seem super busy, which is nice. It means that your child is probably in the waiting room by themselves playing or with one other child. I appreciate how they have a child's waiting room and an adult waiting room, because I also come to this practice and see NP Ritchie. Overall we've always had a very positive experience here. They've also improved their wait times so I never feel like I'm waiting long. Everyone we interact with is always kind and professional from the front staff to the doctors. Along with prior they billed me for things that was never done and called the office manager but she never called me back on the outcome until I got another bill. So I would expect that I would be next to get in but I am still waiting. Kat was rude and very condescending and asked like if saying I'm sorry but I provided you the right location and proceeded to say what do you want me to do. I said I wanted to be see right away.
