Dr. Davis has been my primary care physician for years. I needed to switch doctors because my old doctor wouldn't be an in-network provider for my new insurance company. A friend of mine highly recommended Dr. Davis. I was impressed when I researched him. Pardon my language, but the man is a complete badass. He was a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy and was Staff Medical Officer in Support of Operation Desert Storm. When I met him I instantly liked him. He's kind, thorough, and very patient. I've never felt rushed in my visits and I always get the impression he truly cares about his patients. When I've needed to be referred to specialists he's always selected good ones for me. Dr. Davis is going to retire this year and I'm going to miss him. He is a great doctor! read more

I have been a patient of the Family Medicine Temple Terrace practice for at least six years. But I nor my family will ever go back. Two days ago I needed a COVID test as I was symptomatic. I was very concerned that I would have to delay three biopsies that had been moved up due to the results of recent diagnostic tests. Walgreens and CVS was booked solid, as was MedExpress and other urgent care facilities. I called Dr. Davis's office to get an appointment, but he would not see me. His office directed me to a specific facility for a COVID test, but it was $179. It would be covered at 100% with a doctor referral. I called Dr. Davis's office back and he refused to write me a referral - claiming that he hadn't seen me since last January, before the pandemic. I inquired with Moffitt, my gynecologist and cardiologist--my PCP was the only one that could write the referral. None of them understand why I had been denied, neither does my insurance company. I paid for the test and I am positive for COVID. It's not the money that is upsetting, it's the fact that I had to look all over town for testing feeling very ill. Also, that I have COVID and have to push out three very important biopsies - the stress of all that and that I have an unconcerned PCP. Or did. I have to look for a new one now - in the midst of being sick with COVID and facing possible cancer. I am still in total shock as to how I was treated. I even called back to ask why, but the doctor's assistant was uncaring and tried to justify their response even after I explained my situation again. She put the blame on Dr. Davis. It is incorrigible and I am left devastated by the experience. read more

The Doctor and the staff are friendly and give excellent care. Their lab is clean and friendly (much better than the one at 2352 Bruce B Downs Blvd #302 in Wesley Chapel)! However, the reliance of Florida Medical Clinic on using Phreesia.net for check-in, is a disappointment. They really need a replacement system. read more

Dr. George R. Davis, DO (is not an eye doctor, that person with the 1 star rating is talking about another doctor??) Anyway, this is based on my 3rd visit to Dr. Davis, I was referred to him by a friend, One this I love is that he is able to take blood, right there in the office. He also does womens exams, so I didn't have to make another appt to an ob for and annl visit. He doesn't make you feel rushed. and the staff and his wife and really friendly. Oh the doctor is attentive and really listens. read more

I have been seeing Dr. George Davis for a number of years and have been very satisfied with his office. The office staff is always pleasant and will do what they can do to help. Doctor Davis and his staff takes the time listen to you. Although I usually try for early morning appointments, I find that almost anytime of the day you go, you actually get seen at your scheduled time - for a doctor office, that is amazing. Are they always perfect, nope but compared to other doctor offices I have been to, they are in a league of their own. read more

I go to Dr. Davis and have for around the last 2 years. Have always had a great experience here. They are always able to schedule an appointment right away, and are very kind while they do it! Never have had a long wait time when I do go to the office. Dr. Davis is very professional, he listens to everything I have to say, which I find to be rare in this field anymore. He is very helpful. I had a couple of hospital incidents, he was quick on getting me everything I needed to get further help. I think that it is a plus that you can do your blood/urine right there in the office, as opposed to having to make a trip to a Labcorp/quest. The whole staff is very friendly and helpful. Office is very clean. Would highly recommend this group. Anytime he makes a diagnosis, he give me the medicine I need, and everytime he has been spot on, which is rare in this field as well. read more

stay away... i went to this office for over five years, and never saw dr davis one time... always the np... i was constantly being over billed... charged a co-pay when i dont have one... having to argue with reception to get it back!!! i was told an abssess behind my ear would be fine with a hot compress, later that year needing surgey when i went to a dermatologist!!!! they were shocked at what i told them!!! the last staw being... no longer giving me refills on my asthma meds without paying for an office visit... (wich they had been doing for the first 4 years)??????? twice i went in... because they refused to accept a refill request form my pharmacy... and both times i recieved" zero" refills on the prescription.... zero!!! so i would have to keep paying for visits... when i can barely afford the medicine alone(advair)!!!! i made many phone calls begging for my advair to be refilled because i cant afford the visits every 3 months... they just kept saying sorry, we cant fill it without a visit.. and mr davis would not return any of my phone calls!!!! discusting... horrible... insurace fraud...stay away!!!!!! i cant be happier with my new doctor, who was appauled at what i told them. it is not like i was refilling "pain pills"... it was advair... you cant just stop taking advair... i miss one dose ... i end up haveing to suck on a rescue inhaler. evry few hours.. such a disturbing experience to be strong armed by your own doctor for your breathing medication!!! scary read more

I learned about Dr. Davis from a friend of mine. He is an excellent doctor. I had been going to another doctor and dealing with the same symptoms for more than a year. Dr. Davis got me on a better path after my first visit. He is personable, meticulous, and never makes you feel rushed. I strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a family physician. read more

He's fantastic! If you ever have a question about a doctor and their reliability or reviews go check healthgrades.com. He has fantastic reviews on there and I can also vouch for the fact that he is really great. The center is modern, but check-in is fast and easy, you actually get to see your doctor within 5 minutes of arriving there. His bedside manner is kind and he even interject humor to make you feel more comfortable. I've had blood work done there twice and Kim is fantastic. I even had a biopsy recently on a tiny mole and it was practically painless. I'm one of those people who freaks out every time I go to the doctor but this doctor and his staff make it a lot more comfortable than any other place I've ever been. I highly recommend him as a general practitioner. read more

We were in Tampa for just a few months and my husband was in need of back surgery. He saw Dr. Davis who was wonderful with my husband who is very resistant to interaction with any medical professional. He listened to our problems, analyzed the situation and dealt with getting us the necessary tests and the required insurance referral and sent on to a fantastic orthopedic surgeon right away. The subsequent back surgery went great and we were very pleased with Dr. Davis and his clear and concise handling of our situation which could not have gone more smoothly or efficiently thanks very much to him and his staff. read more

BEWARE!!! This doctors office only wants your money! I've been a patient for over 20 years and I don't know if it's the change in doctors every few months or what but the patient care/customer service has gone down the toilet. I've left voice mails on several different occasions requesting my prescription be refilled only to get no call back on the status. When I called the next day to ask why my prescription still wasn't filled I was told by Tawanna that Dr. Bryant would get it done that day. The third day I called back again to see why my refill still was not submitted to my pharmacy and I was told that Dr. Bryant needs to see me before she can refill my prescription since she last saw me in March. Why do you need to see me when I was there 3 months ago??? just to collect a co-pay because you obviously don't care about the pain I'm having. Not to mention when Dr. Bryant saw me in March that was also so she could refill a prescritpion I needed. I was told in March that it was almost a year since they had seen me so they wouldn't refill it until I came in which I can understand but 3 months later and all I want is a refill there should be NO need to see me again. I will take my business elsewhere to a Doctor that CARES about their patients. read more
