Over the course of time, she changed doctors a number of times, based on what insurance she had at the time. Then, one day, we found Dr. Serneels. After that, my wife would always make sure her insurance plan was one which Dr. Serneels office (now affiliated with Optum) accepted. My wife told me, if we ever moved from the Tampa area, we'd have to live near the Interstate, so we could come back to Tampa for her appointments, because she was not going to see another doctor. Dr. Serneels was EASILY the most knowledgeable, caring, and personable doctor either of us had EVER seen. She and her entire staff were far and away the best at what they did, of any doctor's office we had ever seen. If my wife had a health issue, Dr. Serneels could order the right tests and take the right steps to pin it down, even if it was something obscure. Her insight, intuition, and the scope of her knowledge (even extending to medical specialties) were stunning, at times. Everyone in her office REALLY cares, on a personal level, about their patients. My wife passed very suddenly in 2020, from COVID, despite us taking every precaution. Dr. Serneels and her staff went out of their way to let me know how her death had impacted them, and to offer thier condolences. We truly felt like family, when we went there, and they certainly took care of my wife as if we were. I can not recommend them highly enough.

Okay, so I've only been once, and that was this morning, but so far, so good!…read more Amy was very kind and helpful. She really seems to enjoy fully informing her patients so that they aren't surprised by anything or confused by anything. She also talks you through procedures so that you know what's going on. She seems very keyed into what you're experiencing and trying to make you as comfortable as possible. I honestly felt very comfortable with her form the get go, as though I've already known her for a long time. So far this is a great experience. I was super sad to leave my previous doctor when I moved down here, but Dr. Solomon might just be the perfect replacement! They are currently redecorating their office space. I like a lot of the individual pieces, but it's not even complete and seems to be a bit too busy to me. It's very victorian and swirly! I like the thought process behind the design, but I felt like I was in a bridal salon instead of a doctor's office and it was a bit weird.

I was a new patient so when I arrived the lady at the front desk told me to fill out a few sheets of paperwork and when I was done they called me back not long after. They did not schedule me an appointment and they said I was going to receive a call back to get an approval from the office manager. This is ridiculous because I have called their office phone number to let them know ahead of time and every time I call no one picks up. Then, knowing at any moment I am due they refuse to let you be seen. Especially, that I have been waiting to see my results for a GBS swab in case I need to start taking antibiotics before my delivery date. Super unprofessional.

Anyway, this is based on my 3rd visit to Dr. Davis, I was referred to him by a friend, One this I love is that he is able to take blood, right there in the office. He also does womens exams, so I didn't have to make another appt to an ob for and annl visit. He doesn't make you feel rushed. and the staff and his wife and really friendly. A friend of mine highly recommended Dr. Davis. I was impressed when I researched him. Pardon my language, but the man is a complete badass. He was a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy and was Staff Medical Officer in Support of Operation Desert Storm. When I met him I instantly liked him. He's kind, thorough, and very patient. I've never felt rushed in my visits and I always get the impression he truly cares about his patients. When I've needed to be referred to specialists he's always selected good ones for me.
