This is the worse 7/11 around , the staff is rude the store is absolutely disgusting..won't load…read moreany money for any reason unless they feel like it otherwise they lie and say system is down but the 7/11 right down the road could . From now on I will start driving further away to 711 because this place will no longer ever get my money..

Worst 7-11 I've been to in years…read more Not to sound too drastic but I hate this 7-11. I could get past the dirty floors & dirty counters & nasty Slurpee area & cold coffee if the owners weren't so completely rude & greedy. First of all the owners... It's a husband/wife team. Older Eastern Indian couple. Avoid them at all cost. The wife... She will watch every step you take in the store making you feel like your about to steal something & just don't know it yet. Not only that, I personally watched her tell two black people in a row that they don't accept EBT (Michigan Food Stamps/Bridge Card/SNAP etc.) even though the machine is there & it says they accept it on the window, then after they left I watched as she let a white person use their Bridge Card to buy food & a Slurpee. The husband now... He also watches you as if your about to steal something but he takes it to the next level. He will nonchalantly follow you around "cleaning" the filthy store watching every, single move you make. Want an example? So I go up there to get my wife an iced coffee. She happens to be extremely picky about coffee & how it tastes. I call her on the phone while at there coffee station. (where all the creamers are which BTW is filthy & mostly empty at all times) She tells me that she wants Amaretto creamers but not sure how many to make it taste right so just bring home about 8 of them. I put 8 in my coat pocket & go to pay for the iced coffee. Once I'm at the counter the owner tells me to empty my pockets or he's calling the police. HUH? He says he saw me steal the creamers. I tell him that I have a coffee to which he says "creamers are for coffee only!" HUH? I told him that I'm buying a coffee to which he replies "it's iced" HUH? This goes on until he finally says "then you pay me 10 cents for each creamer unless I watch you pour each one in the iced coffee" HUH? Oh also, don't buy their new promotional $3.00 milk bottle shaped Slurpee cup that has a "1st refill free" sticker on the cup. When I brought my son back up to get his free refill, the very next day, he pulled the sticker off & said that "the free refill is when you 1st buy it & not when you refill it the 1st time." HUH? Now on to the employees... There is one guy up there that is actually nice & honest. He's a shorter middle aged Eastern Indian guy. He smiles & says hi to me & my son every time we walk in. Asks my son about his soccer games, tells him how big he's getting etc. Just a very nice guy. Then there's the other one... ...Tall mid-late 20's Eastern Indian guy. I have never seen a guy this age so blatantly hit on every, single middle school girl that walks into the store. If your a girl that's 13 to 17 & are into 6' tall 7-11 employees hitting on you while you buy candy, this is your place. Saddest part about all this is that I would have to go about 2 miles to get to the nearest other 7-11 which I occasionally do. I have to say that the 7-11 at 12 mile & Schoenherr is great. Go there instead.

Everyone was super duper friendly right when we walked in. I can't stress that enough: these people…read moreare very kind! Don't worry about the weird setup, it's part of the charm. Remember: Bring cash! Used a card, and the cashier had to type it in manually (it was nice of them to do that). Now for the food - We got a few meats--turkey pastrami, corned beef and a "wildcard" (I let the staff pick, and whatever it was it was good). We also got the special spices etc. I do prefer a more of an Italian sandwich on a hard roll, so I'm not sure the soft onion roll is for me. If you like a cold sandwich un-toasted and generally basic with a bit of a twist, you will love this! My husband and I enjoyed the sandwich (split it, and they put mayo on half at my request). It's a charming spot, quality food and I'm glad we tried it. Skip the spicy potato salad. It was bland, sadly.

My friends have always ordered carryout, but ordering in person was so much more enjoyable. While the interior is by-and-large a throwback to the past; the staff is most definitely a breath of fresh air. They're all kind, patient, and make the best sandwiches! I had the 2 meats (turkey and turkey pastrami) with everything sans pickles plus love spice on an onion roll. I'm beyond satisfied and it was divine! The price was reasonable for a deli sandwich at $10 before tax and 4% card fee. I usually go for corned beef at the deli, but this was a leaner yet equally tasty option in an attempt to be more health conscious. Needless to say, I'll be back! Thanks, ladies!
