This place is a bit of a mess operationally, but it also has a ton of potential. The layout is…read moreconfusing and congested, with products seemingly placed wherever they fit rather than in a way that makes sense. There's also a huge open area that looks like it was intended to be a deli, but it was closed when I visited, with just a few cheeses sitting in the display cases. The whole setup felt awkward and unfinished. That being said, I have to give them credit where it's due: their alcohol selection is actually impressive. They carry some higher-end and harder-to-find bottles that other liquor stores in the area simply don't have. I was even able to find a rare rum here that I haven't been able to find anywhere else locally. The frustrating part is that the bones are here for this to be a really great store. They have the space, the inventory and some genuinely good products. It just desperately needs someone with strong retail and operational experience to reorganize the store, improve the layout and presentation, and make better use of the space. With the right person running the operation, I could see this becoming one of the better liquor stores in the area.

They have plenty of the traditional, popular brands that you can find at pretty much any liquor store, so if you're looking for something basic or familiar, you'll probably have no problem finding what you need. Where they fell short for me was the higher-end, specialty and more unique bottles. There simply wasn't much variety to choose from. I ended up walking out without buying anything and went to another liquor store down the street where I was able to find what I was looking for. Nothing particularly bad about the place--it's clean and seems perfectly fine for everyday purchases. But if you're someone who likes higher-end or harder-to-find liquor and enjoys browsing a more interesting selection, this probably isn't the spot for you.
