I came here to get a ciabatta sandwich I always like to get these when I go to a Buscemis. I decided to ask the lady what the price was for the sandwich. She told me $9.50. I told her don't even grab it. I don't want it.. I left and I called another location. They said that they sell them for $6. Then it occurred to me that this location is building a new store. I see a lot of bad reviews regarding this spot, however I would like to add my two sense. Bucemies is an elite chain, offering snack, drinks, liquor, and most importantly the subs and pizza. I can hands down say that this is one of the best places to stop in and grab a slice or even order a whole pie. From great prices to unforgettable pizza, bucemies does it right. Don't get me wrong there has been times where I've had better pies then others but you can't expect greatness every time. This is my corner liquor store, been coming here on the regular. Bought a Breeze and when i took it out of the package it was busted, nbd right? So not even 10 mins later I go back to exchange my vape, literally talked to the guy who rung me up and he tells me he has to check with the owner....Owner comes around back and tells me I cant exchange or get a refund, I have to go online and fill out a claim for Breeze and jump through all of these hoops. Idc about the $12, what I care about is the principle. The fact that they took a regulars money and pretty much told me to kick rocks. If this is how you treat your customers, you dont deserve my business. Let this be a lesson to do the right thing, especially when you are a business owner. I recently ordered a 3 foot party sub, was not happy, everyone at the party said it's not a Bucimis sub, box says so. Didn't know you could slice a tomato 1mm thick, hardly any meat, minimal lettuce,,, and to top it off,, the bun was as sliced such that it was on an angle so top was all bread and bottom was a wafer of bread, WT*. My husband has been eating this pizza for 40+ years at the Utica location. This Pizza gave him a terrible reaction both times he ate this pizza. Garbage is where the rest went. I used to buy it by the slice but now will only get a full pie! $6.99 for a large round pepperoni is the best deal anywhere -- it is WAAAAAAYYYYY better than Little Ceaser's $5 take-home (tastes a TON better) and tastes better and cheaper than Jets or Green Lantern! Love this Buscemi's at 23 Mile & Card Rd. Friendly staff every time I go and the manager Fadi is a great guy. Everyone who walks in there feels welcome and like they recognize you. Went there to buy a torpedo sub and asked the lady behind the counter how much the subs are since (at this location) there are no prices listed. She tells $5.49. I'm like ok that's fine but already knowing that they put almost no lunchmeat in their subs I still go to buy it. At the register this man tells me its over 6 dollars and i tell him I think there's a mistake, this is ridiculous, this sub is for shit anyway. As the owner, clerk, and lady who told me first of all are all now conversing in Arabic. The over bearing owner says to me, that's fine we'll give it to you for $5.49 just this time, then continues to tell me that he gives me breaks all the time, I'm looking at him like I don't know what the HELL he's talking about. How embarrassing. Those subs are so skimpy now their not worth the bread their on. That jerk owner should understand that in AMERICA we value our customers!
