The staff are clean and wear hair nets and gloves. They are really friendly and chatty nice service. They are open six days a week. They usually have special offers in the window and I usually get the offers as its nice for a change and you can freeze them and because I know the quality is really good. Would recommend having a look and buying some pork sausages from here they are really yummy and you can tell the difference from fresh ones and frozen ones.

The best thing about Scriven and Thornton's has to be the deli counter. It is piled high with all sorts of cooked meats, pies, cheeses and Scotch eggs. The floors at Padda Supermarket 2 could do with a clean. But that is the only criticism I have of this place. Prices are affordable and this is one supermarket I might come back to despite the fact there is a closer green grocers as to where I live. What you normally find in an off license will also be found here such as your soft drink cans, frozen foods, chocolates etc. I don't know if its just me but I'm not sure whether it is a good idea to have your fruit and vegetables stored outside. Wouldn't you be better off storing them indoors? This supermarket also sell fresh meat and poultry. The staff here are friendly but again I don't know whether it is just me but there were times where they seemed a little bit dull.
