I had a severe tootache / headache the other night and decided to pull the whole tooth. So I opted…read morefor a tooth extraction. Not many dentist offices are open on Saturday, so I landed here. I scheduled an appointment on Saturday 19th, over two weeks ago. Pulling a teeth cost roughly $200 on average however again, it was a Saturday. First, they tried charging a $75 appointment fee, I said I have one of the best dental insurance there is and it usually covers that, I was hit with "it should, however today is Saturday so we're unable to verify insurance cause that team comes in on Monday so what will happened is, once verified it will get reimbursed" - Meghan. I understand, so I let them swipe my card. As they checked out the X-rays I provided, Meghan came in the room with an invoice totaling $650 plus the taxes. $200 for the extraction, $450 for a dental intake ? I declined the intake as I never heard of that but it was explained and I politely declined. I said , can I just get the tooth removed. The Doctor, Dr Ana, said . No. I am not doing it without the intake. I said, shouldn't that be my choice. She said no, I am not doing it without. This is the dilemma I was facing, go another day with pain level at 10 and find another dentist (as I'm already sitting on the dental chair with three people surrounded me) or..which I was about to do, Meghan state "again, once the verification teams get in they should be able to verify your insurance and then we'll reimburse you so technically you'll only pay for the $200 extraction, and some insurance covers that and a small percentage of the $450. We'll call you Monday morning with the updated amount once it's verified" - Meghan. So then I waited. And waited. So I called on Tuesday to give them some time. This time Lola picks up. I explained, the first comment out Lola's mouth was "ok don't be upset but..." which is never a comforting sign, she explained they used a third party company to verify and that no request was sent off so she assures me she'll get me an answer today with an estimate (that was Tuesday September 22nd) again, today is September 28th two weeks later. In all fairness, Lola called me at the end of that business day and said "unfortunately, your insurance is (I think she said an acronym like SSD) and said they don't take that insurance. I said no, my insurance is PPO and it's on ur website as acceptable insurance and you guys are also within my Delta Dental network. She said she disagree. As someone who works for a credit card company and keeps their Lawyer on standby, I learned not to do back and forths. I know a scam when I see one and something I was willing to pay for, simple will get hit with a chargeback and amount to $0. I am also debating on posting on my social media cause I know that will bring A LOT of GREAT reviews.

Dr. Teodoru and his entire staff go over and above to provide their patients with excellent…read moreservice. I needed A top denture, which required the majority of my upper teeth to be extracted During my consultation, Dr Teodoru himself, took the time to sit with me and explain in detail every step of the procedure, I don't ever recall having the doctor himself take the time out to do that, instead of another member of the staff. By the time I left my consultation, all of my fears and anxieties were gone and I knew this is going to be a positive experience. When I showed up for my actual appointment, I had very little anxiety, and my nerves were actually not completely shot. In 2 1/2 hrs, I walked out with a complete top denture after having all my upper teeth extracted. I still cannot believe that they did both extractions and Dentures all during the same appointment, and it took under three hours from beginning to end! I would absolutely recommend this dentist to anyone in need of extractions, cosmetic dentistry, implants, and so on. Oh, and did I forget to mention that they are incredibly reasonable!!!!!!

Really easy to get along with and understand empathetic . Think I found Dr. Berger. When I first moved to Florida from California, I tried several of the dentist that were off commercial Boulevard. I was told I needed various treatments. They were also very very hard on my teeth and would always make my gums bleed and then tell me I needed it this that in the other, they were super rough with my teeth almost as they were straight out of school not very kind to patient was more of a number, not a patient. I have very sensitive gums so I've always been picky with my dentist and hygienist. I kept shopping around thankfully I found Dr. Berger what I like about Dr. Berger is she will tell you what you need and let you decide. I have had various treatments with Dr. Berger. She has fixed a feels crowns that were done the wrong way. and is currently working on a mistake one of the other dentists made on a front tooth of mine. Aside from her lovely smile, one of my favorite things about Dr. Berger is how meticulous she is. She's a perfectionist. I can't recommend her enough and I always do whenever. As a doctor myself, I am very familiar with front desk staff and insurance. After my cleaning in February, I was advised i needed to have a filling or some type of work done. I prepaid for the service at the suggestion of the front desk, and made an apt to have the procedure 2 weeks later. When I came in the morning of the procedure, I was told that the cost was going to be almost double what I was quoted (and had already prepaid). I felt uncomfortable and confused, and decided to ask for a refund and go to a friend of mine who is an orthodontist whom i trust. It is now May, I have not received a refund. I have called 10+ times. Giana has never returned my calls. Every time i call she is "on Lunch" or "in a meeting". Today when I called the phone mysteriously disonnected. I have lost hundreds of dollars, and nobody has returned any of my calls. Completely unprofessional. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else that has an office staff that actually does their job.
