I completely disagree with Ashly and Michelle's reviews. I was diagnosed with the same skin rash…read morecalled Perioral Dermatitis. If Ashly or Michelle had either patience of trust, their healing process may have been more positive. Perioral Dermatitis is one of the most difficult skin rashes to treat, and Dr. Berhoozan was not only encouraging, but also successful in eliminating this problem for me. If you research Perioral Dermatitis, all research says you have to be "patient!" By following Dr. Berhoozans rules I have better skin today then I did before the rash. Although Dr. Berhoozan has "graduated" me from his care, if I ever have any skin issues, he will be my go to! Highly recommended!

Dr. B is literally the best Derm in LA. I haven't been able to see him during the past few years…read morebecause of Covid, I lost my PPO insurance-- which is not his fault, obviously. He is the friendliest and most adorable man and a complete skin genius and wizard! Even though he does a lot of cosmetic high end dermatology and his office looks like a million bucks, he's one of the rare LA premium dermatologists that also does medical dermatology which is what I saw him for. Acne and Eczema. The latter of which can be hard to treat. I also messed myself up with a stupid at home micro-needle and he fixed me right up and didn't make me feel like a jerk! But what I am most thankful for is his care for my husband (at the time) who is very fair and works outside quite a bit. He caught three!! melanomas before they became serious. Two of which were on the face. We were worried that his face would have scars but you can't tell anything ever happened. That's how talented he is!! Before Dr B, my husband had a melanoma on his back and the dermatologist we had at the time dug it out like he was scooping freezing ice cream! There was a huge scar and indentation. So it matters a lot how skilled your Derm is at both the medical aspects and the cosmetic ones. To quote him, "I've never lost a patient to skin cancer!" Thank the heavens!! It was a relief that all we had to do was make sure my hub went every six months for his skin check with Dr B to remain melanoma free. Peace of mind, priceless! I also had a painful skin problem that was chronic and in a sensitive area that's the domain of the lady doctor. My GYN tried everything and he's also a fabulous doctor. But I was in so much pain and so frustrated because we couldn't figure out what it was and I just couldn't live with no diagnosis. Even though this area isn't the area of the dermatologist to take care of, I told Dr B about it and how desperate I was. He said if I was comfortable, he would look at it (along with a female nurse present) and I said please do. Well, he solved it! It was it eczema- the worst! And he solved it. Cured! I had been dealing with that for at least two years and finally he resolved it. No more pain, no more frustration! Not many doctors would be willing to do that, but he did, because he's a badass and a wonderful person! As soon as I get a PPO, I'm running back to him! I believe his office has some parking in the back too. There's a CVS down just down the road and lots of cafes walking distance just up the block if you need a good cup of coffee. Just be careful parallel parking around there because you don't want to dent a G Wagon or a Bentley lol. Hey, maybe you drive one! Smoke 'em if you got 'em!

Dr. Babu-Khan is not only a great physician, she is also a great person. I knew her for a few years…read morebefore I even knew she was a doctor. I worked at the school where she sends her kids and knew her as a parent volunteer. She's a down-to-Earth lady. I needed a new dermatologist last year and a colleague told me Nasreen was a dermatologist. I was psyched. Her staff is lovely. Dr. Babu-Khan speaks with you about your overall health, not just your skin. Stress can lead to various skin problems so we spoke about that. She prescribed two creams for me, one for a short-term problem and another for an ongoing problem. Despite stress, my skin has been consistently better for the past 12 months. I am more than happy to be going to see her again in the near future for my annual skin evaluation.

I hesitate to write such a negative review for a doctor, but I think it's important so that others…read moredo not have the same experience. I went to Dr. Babu-Khan twice for yearly skin cancer checks (there is a huge amount of skin cancer in family). The first visit, she was very dismissive, but I attributed it to her being busy. The second visit, I had a strange growth on my arm. She took a biopsy and promised results in 2-3 days. More than a week passed, so I called the office to find out the results. Dr. Babu -Khan returned my call and said, "Since the cream didn't work, we don't know what it is." I responded, "We haven't done anything with cream. Are you sure you're looking at the right record?" Turned out she was looking at another patient's record. Then, she (supposedly) found mine, and told me that the biopsy was completely inconclusive and the pathologists had no idea what it was, but most likely it wasn't cancer. I wasn't satisfied with this answer, but I accepted it for a while. Fast forward several months, and the lesion on my arm continues to grow. I decided to request a copy of the pathology report from the biopsy. It turns out, the pathology report did have a diagnosis, and it is a condition that is treatable (fortunately not cancer). Dr. Babu-Khan's failure to provide accurate information is unacceptable.

GLUTATHIONE shots I rarely write a review, but this is more…read moreof a PSA. (Aside from the fact that I absolutely love Dr. kormeili and I can write more after I finished my treatment) but I was telling her how good the glutathione shots have been for me and she requested I post something about it. I just took my third weekly shot. I started after a friend of mine who is a Singer told me about having her glutathione is good for vocal cords, and Hee bought a series of 10 and ended up resorbing assist he had in his knee. he was slated to remove surgically . I used to take glycine orally because it's great for chelation in particularly useful for people who are neurodivergent (which I am) then I read about what it does for skin at Dr. Kormeili's and decided to try the shots. Within 10 minutes of the first shot, I felt my whole nervous system relax and felt very grounded. It took away my sugar cravings, which I'm not claiming as one of the benefits. It's just what it did to me and on day six I usually feel that I'm ready for my next shot. It would be too lengthy for me to get into all the reasons, but I would encourage you to do a deep dive into the benefits of glutathione and I don't know if they are all created equal but what I get from Dr. kormeili makes an almost immediate and noticeable difference in my life. And I feel when I need more. And plus I get to see Dr. kormeili weekly which always makes my day The other thing I will say about the office is that everybody that I have seen there does not look like they've had anything done. And I really appreciate her discouraging me from services. She feels I do not need in case I haven't been clear: I absolutely love Dr. Kormeili. Also forgot to mention what she did with one syringe of filler was nothing short of miraculous in terms of restoring my face to where I recognize myself and felt like myself again and what I can tell you is it's not what I think I needed. You could not be in better hands. I'm sure there are some incredibly talented people out there that may be as good but I can guarantee you're not gonna find someone better.

I have been taking both of my teenage children to Dr. Kormeili for some time, and until recently, I…read morehad been generally satisfied with the care we received. Unfortunately, our most recent experience has completely changed my opinion of the practice. Over the years, there were multiple occasions when the wrong dosage of a prescription was sent to our pharmacy, resulting in unnecessary expenses and inconvenience. We continued to overlook these issues because, overall, we were satisfied with the services. When my daughter, who lives overseas and attends college there, came home this August, I took her to Dr. Kormeili because she was experiencing significant acne issues. During the visit, Dr. Kormeili prescribed oral medication and also recommended and sold us a three-month supply of products from her own skincare line. The creams and toners alone totaled nearly $700. After starting the oral medication, my daughter developed a side effect that is commonly associated with the medication. This was not discussed with us during the appointment. We contacted the office simply to ask whether she should continue taking the medication or stop it. Rather than answering this straightforward follow-up question, the office wanted to schedule a Zoom appointment and charge another consultation fee. I asked if the fee could be waived given that we were only seeking clarification about a medication she had just been prescribed and a side effect that had not been discussed during the original visit. The office initially agreed to waive the fee and proceed with a short Zoom consultation. Then, unexpectedly, we received a message saying that Dr. Kormeili had decided my daughter should stop the medication and find a doctor in the country where she currently lives. At that point, I was left feeling that the priority was more about generating revenue than providing continuity of care. After spending nearly $700 on products recommended and sold by the practice, along with paying for the original visit and medication, I found it extremely disappointing that we could not get a simple follow-up question answered without a separate consultation--and then were essentially told to find another doctor. I understand that patients who live abroad may need ongoing care from a local physician. What I found unacceptable was the way this situation was handled. A patient should be able to ask a basic question about a medication that was just prescribed without feeling like every interaction is another opportunity to charge a fee. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I no longer feel that this practice puts the patient's needs first. I would not recommend this office to others based on how our situation was handled.
