Great dentist and I had to switch twice in the list 2 years to find one that actually knows what he's doing. My last dentist told me I didn't have a cavity and I said but it really hurts and I see a dent and he said it wasn't a cavity and when I went to Doctor Rubin he said you have a bunch of cavities and he fixed them all. He took xrays and showed me the cavities. I think I had about 8 and now my mouth never hurts. It's almost like the last dentist only wanted to do my crown and didn't want to do little work like filling cavities but I'm glad I'm rid of that guy and I'm glad that I found Doctor Rubin. He's working on a Crown for me now and just took the mold this week. I have 6 implanted teeth and Periodontal disease and he's very empathic when it comes to being gentle and not hurting you when he's doing the work. Not many people who I have come across have taken time out of their high demand job to help others in need . My dear friend was treated by Dr.Rubin who I found extremely kind caring and empathetic to her needs ,he is extremely professional as a dentist and very caring with his patients ,I personally have had a lot of dental work which is very scary for most people,I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs dental work done !! I am writing this review an hour after getting my wisdom teeth out. I can't stress how amazing Dr. Rubin and his team is. Donna is literally the most kind down to earth lady you will ever meet. She is awesome!!! She took her time with me and the 15 calls I had prior to my extractions. Love her!!! Dr. Rubin has hands of an angel, the injections I barely even felt it. Very professional and just a purely nice man. I've been on the search for a good dentist and Dr. Rubin deserves an award. He is truly the best. If you care about your oral hygiene go here!!!! I live in Nutley, searching for places in Essex county even went to Bayonne. No one made me feel comfortable the well Dr. Rubin and his team did. I have been going to this dentist for years now & I'm seriously always satisfied when I leave. Especially today, I had 2 wisdom teeth removed with some novacane. I was nervous, I'm not going to lie but I always trust Dr. Rubin. If I could describe him in 4 words, I'd say "Hands of an angel!". I have been going to Dr. Rubin since I was a kid, and am happy to bring my kids there now. Going to his office has helped me overcome a sincere fear I had of dentist offices, and now feel completely at ease in the chair, with his entire staff. I bring both of my children there now, who are both under the age of 5. My daughter loves it and looks forward to her cleanings and little goody bags she leaves with. But more importantly my son loves going also! He was born premature and with mild complications, and for the jest year of his life he spent too much time in doctors offices and with an occupational therapist. This has left him with a fear of doctors offices and generally spends his time clinging to me and trying to escape. In Dr Rubin's office, he happily climbs up into the chair and let's them clean and examine his teeth, and place fluoride on them, without so much of a whimper. It's amazing to see! I have been a patient of Dr. Rubin's for about three years now and I cannot say one bad thing. A normal trip to the dentist is not something anyone looks forward to doing; however, the staff and Dr. Rubin himself always make it a pleasant experience. Everyone is as nice as can be, the office and exam rooms are very clean, and you always leave with a great teeth cleaning care package! I first went to Dr. Rubin after moving out of my hometown and needed a dentist with a more convenient location to where I live and someone who had more flexible appointment options.
