I used the law firm of Yamin & Yamin in Danbury Connecticut as my real estate lawyer at the closing. A year later while setting up a trust with another attorney it was discovered that certain information on the deed was incorrect, The trust attorney suggested that I contact Yamin to correct this. I contacted Bob Yamin and explained the situation and he said he would resolve it. After not hearing back for several weeks I called Yamin several more times with no response! I finally had to pay my new trust attorney to rectify this. I consider this behavior on the part of Yamin & Yamin to be highly unprofessional and negligent!!!!!

I called this law firm to ask questions about starting a business. The lawyer I spoke with, Mr…read more Goldman, spent 20 minutes bad-mouthing the local hospital. My question was answered by him that what I had in mind was not possible. That took about 5 minutes. I got up to leave, and he sat me down (my mistake) to talk nonsense for another 10 minutes. I then got up to leave. Asking whom I pay, he directed me back into the office and told me that my 5 minutes of consultation (the rest being his wasting time) was going to be billed at the hourly rate of $400. Later that day, this same man had the nerve to leave me a message saying his colleagues had come up with a way to do what he said couldn't be done and that I should come back in. Does that mean he gives me back my $400 as he is not as competent as his colleagues or does it mean they think they have a fool they can bilk for more time. This is what gives lawyers a bad name.
