Keep in mind they do not sell half ducks anymore so you will have to buy a full duck! They not only had what I was looking for, there were charsui (bbq pork), chicken and some innards there. In addition, they have the expected Asian grocery options (bean sprouts, bok choy, pea leaves, lemongrass, gai lan, etc) and miscellaneous kitchen items like rice cookers, oriental knick knacks and items not normally found in your typical grocery store. Good find.

So I got it for $19 bucks a week. My next box is this week. I got kale, zucchini, cucumbers, dill, blueberries, potatoes, kohlrabi, beets, peas, and an onion. Then we bought chocolate chips cookies and also a bag of english muffins. I made potato salad with the red potatoes and kohlrabi, and dill. We had breakfast sandwiches with the muffins they are big and really good! And I've made the various other veggies throughout the week. I am looking forward to this weeks box. Overall good experience and the veggies were fresh and good. I like that you're getting this from the source farmer. I like supporting a local farmer. Depending on your time and your means this could be a good alternative to shopping at corporate stores. Or maybe if you hate shopping for veggies. They have carnivore boxes and also vegan boxes. I chose the vegetarian because we get meat from a butcher. So this could be your shopping for the week in some cases. Check out the website and see if this is right for you.

It has grown over the years to offer far more than just produce: dairy, bread products, canned and fermented, baked goods, meats, prepared foods...and on and on. The customer service is personal and prompt. They go out of their way to be accommodating. The value is outstanding. No way I could purchase the same amount or quality at a local grocery chain. The owners also clearly care about their farming partners as much as they care about their customers; the weekly newsletter that accompanies the weekly offering often highlights a farmer and their product and shares insights on what it takes to produce honest, local food. I have looked for CSAs in MI and WA state for my adult kids and there is nothing available as extensive as Fresh Fork. It is a true gem in NEO.

I stopped in for sweets after I was invited to Indian masala chai evening. STORE: The store is located in a plaza with limited parking. Dedicated few spots are available for Parivar Spice Market customers. The store has everything - veggies and fruits, bulk rice, frozen foods, tea, sweets, personal care items, and other staples. Staples are available in bulk or individually (such as rice). You'll find Indian souvenirs behind the counter. There's also more than an aisle of packaged spices. I don't dabble much in Indian spices, but someone with spice needs would love this place. Indian spices linger in the air adding a dash of authenticity to this market visit. The inventory is plentiful but not logically organized. For instance, I found sweets in multiple different aisles. The prices for products are not well labeled on the shelves or on the products. It's hard to tell the prices until checkout. If you frequent this market, it would be intuitive, but as a first timer, prepare to spend time here. I liked that the entire market focused on only Indian food without introducing other cultures. MY PURCHASE: I got sweets for tea: - Deep Khari Twisted Jeera ($3.49) - Crispy puffed pastries with cumin - Karachi's Osmania Biscuits ($5.99) - Soft and buttery cookies - Deep Khari Masala ($3.49) - Crispy puffed pastries with a blend of spices - Karachi's Bakery Fruit Biscuits ($5.99) - Biscuits with mixed fruit, vanilla, and nuts SERVICE: Service is very pleasant. The store employee chatted with me about my upcoming tea and graciously offered her help with my selections. I was very pleased with the friendliness and the hospitality.
