The Maroush…read morePlatter came with literally some of everything they offered: kofta (ground beef kebab), shish taouk (chicken kebab), makanik (Lebanese beef sausage), chicken shawarma carved from a rotating spit, fried vegetables (eggplant, cauliflower, zucchini, fries), falafel, halloumi, tabbouleh, grape leaves stuffed with rice, salad, pickles, hummus, toum, and spicy chili sauce, along with two rounds of pita. Everything was drizzled with tahini, which added an unctuous, earthy flavor to every bite, and while everything on the platter was delicious, I especially liked the flavors added by the toum and chili sauce. The seating here was extremely limited, but the value and the flavors of the food definitely made up for the lack of atmosphere!
