Our favorite is done on the far corner on the lake back in but since we had to change our week due to my schedule mistake we ended up on the entry side with the swings. Unfortunately the weather this week did not offer us a chance to use the swings. Still like our old spot on the corner better as it is drivers side back in. It seemed like there were so many unnecessary rules that it took the fun out of the experience. One of the biggest disappointments was the atmosphere. It felt like kids couldn't just be kids without someone expecting them to be perfectly quiet or worrying about breaking a rule. Instead of feeling like a fun family campground, it felt overly strict and lacking the welcoming, relaxed environment we were hoping for. If you're looking for a place where families can let their kids have fun and make memories, this may not be the best choice. It seems more geared toward people who want a very quiet, heavily regulated resort rather than an active, family-friendly campground. Unfortunately, we left feeling like the focus was more on enforcing rules than creating an enjoyable experience for families. We won't be returning.
